RAS KASSAR was unlucky to bump into an improved rival when runner-up at Uttoxeter last time, so he is taken to go one better as he makes only his third start for current yard. Tamarind Bay is feared most having won both of his chase starts so far, ahead of Follow Your Luck who is one to note on chasing debut.

Timeform Comments

Tamarind Bay (IRE)
Maiden hurdler but was much improved for the switch to chasing when landing 5-runner handicap at Stratford (23f) in June. Easily followed up in 3-runner contest at Uttoxeter (2½m) and he's not taken lightly.
Follow Your Luck (IRE)
Winning Irish pointer who made a successful start under Rules in maiden hurdle at Sedgefield (2½m) in February. Again jumped well when scoring in novice over the same C&D later the same month, so he commands respect making quick switch to a handicap on chasing debut.
Glen To Glen (IRE)
Useful Flat performer who won a juvenile maiden hurdle at Cork (17f) in December. However, has been let down by his jumping tried over fences the last twice. Cheekpieces applied as he makes first start since leaving Joseph Patrick O'Brien.
Ras Kassar (FR)
Fair winner over fences in France and stepped up on his recent stable debut when second in handicap at Uttoxeter last month, pulling clear with a new recruit to the Skelton yard. Could be ready to open his British account.
Kinbara Firstdraft (IRE)
Fair hurdler at best but below that level over fences. Showed a bit more than on stable debut when fourth of 6 in handicap over C&D in July, but tailed off here (2m) last time. Tongue strap refitted and has had a breathing operation, though he's a long way out of the weights.
