An unappealing bunch overall with COLLINGHAM receiving the tentative vote after showing clear signs of a revival off a plummeting mark at Uttoxeter on his most recent outing. Veteran Le Malin has possibilities if stepping forward from his comeback, while hat-trick seeker Edgewell can't be dismissed for all that he's likely to find it tougher going from his revised mark.

Bettered his lowly hurdles form for Gordon Elliott when making a winning chasing debut in 6-runner handicap here course (2½m, good) 44 days ago, staying on to lead dying strides after others began to flag on the run-in. Wouldn't be sure to reproduce that form.

Finally got his act together for current connections when winning 13-runner handicap chase at Down Royal (21f) in December 2024. Shaped as if retaining ability after 19 months off in 3-runner affair at Cartmel (25f) recently, albeit allowed to dictate. Possibilities if stepping forward from that.
Edgewell (IRE)
Quirky sort who notched a fourth win for current connections in 5-runner handicap chase at Worcester (23f, good to firm) 36 days ago, kicking clear before the home turn and still 10 lengths clear at the last before idling late. Likely to find life tougher in hat-trick bid from a 6 lb higher mark.
Collingham (GER)
Multiple winner over hurdles who has largely been disappointing for present yard but showed clear signs of a revival off a plummeting mark back over fences tried in a visor when fourth of 14 in 3m handicap at Uttoxeter just over 3 weeks ago. One to be interested in all of a sudden.
Mcgregors Charge
Landed this corresponding race last August for Ella Pickard. Out of sorts in 2 runs for Kayley Woollacott in April but stopped the slide in a first-time tongue strap on second start for current yard when fourth in 7-runner handicap chase at Newton Abbot (3¼m) last month. Needs to build on that now.
Ballydangan (IRE)
Won twice at Hexham in 2025 but has been pulled up on 2 of his last 3 outings, taking little interest at Sedgefield when last seen in March. Others more appealing.
