The 3-y-o is taken to see off the challenge of Is She Now, who has made a positive start for her current stable, while Alcanzor could yet do better.

Struggled in Ireland but proved a different proposition when winning first 2 outings for new yard in June. Has continued in good heart with a trio of in-frame efforts since, denied close home at Newcastle (2m) 15 days ago. Respected.
Character Testing
Sole success came on the Flat at Southwell (1m) back in January 2024. However, fit from hurdling and with visor applied he ran better than for a while in this sphere when second of 7 in handicap at Beverley (1½m) 18 days ago. Task is now to back up latest run.
Just Adair
Won over 11.5f at Windsor on his first 2 starts in handicaps last season and runner-up twice to begin the current campaign. Respectable 2½ lengths sixth of 9 at Ffos Las 18 days ago and he can give his running up in trip.
Lednikov
Goes well at Southwell, a wide-margin winner at around this trip for his latest success in March. Not discredited when fourth of 9 at the same course (1½m) 23 days ago, but he remains with only the one career success on turf.
Rajendra
Has failed to improve for the switch to handicaps the last twice, again failing to beat a rival in 3-runner contest at Lingfield (11.5f, good to firm) on latest outing. Drops in grade now tried over this even longer distance.
Sound Gloria
Much improved since sent handicapping, suited by the further step up in trip when landing the odds in 7-runner contest at Catterick (1½m) 24 days ago. Major player as her stamina is drawn out even more.
Manbearpig (IRE)
No better than mid-division in his qualifying runs towards end of last year and hasn't fared any better in a trio of handicaps, in blinkers when eighth of 10 at Ayr (1¼m) 6 weeks ago. Switches to cheekpieces for first attempt at this trip.
Alcanzor (IRE)
Fitted with cheekpieces for only second handicap start, produced best effort to date when fifth of 10 at Southwell (11f) 23 days ago, shaping as if a further step up in trip would suit. Merits consideration now switched to blinkers.
