No shortage of chances but it's hard not to be impressed with how SAXON GRACE has advanced her form of late so a quick-fire hat-trick beckons if seeing out this trip. Tim Easterby holds a strong hand and his Little Ted and Sunny Orange are others to consider. Riddikulus and the returning Casilli at forecast longer odds also make appeal.

Regained winning thread at Beverley (8.5f) in April and he lines up here in good order, runner up at Pontefract prior to not being seen to best effect when fifth back at Beverley (1¼m) 3 days ago. Blinkers go on in place of usual cheekpieces and claims from a handy draw.
War And Love
Maiden who produced best effort for present yard when fourth at Doncaster (7f, firm) in July and not disgraced having attempted to throw down a challenge a long way out when third in a Redcar maiden (7f) last week. This more suitable now stamina is tested further.
Kitsune Power (IRE)
Consistent sort who ended a long losing sequence at Beverley (1¼m) in July and backed it up with pair of in-the-frame efforts in a higher grade since. Another who is expected to give another good account.
Woodleigh (IRE)
Course winner who scored at Redcar and at Doncaster earlier this season and he comes here on the back of creditable displays, latterly when fourth of 7 in handicap at Redcar (1m) 17 days ago. No reason why he won't give another good account.
Marlena's Prince (IRE)
Ex-French performer who is effective at 1m to 15.5f and he ended time with H-A Pantall with a respectable second in a La-Roche-Posay maiden (8.5f) in June. Market can guide as to expectations now handicapping for new yard. Hood on 1st time.
Daring Leader (IRE)
Capitalised on falling mark under a positive ride at Pontefract (1m) in June but not in anything like the same form when well held over this trip at Ayr 3 weeks ago.
Magic Runner (GER)
Both career wins over 9.5f at Wolverhampton, the latest in January. Exploits mixed on all-weather during the spring but shaped as if she'd come on for the run after 4 months off when fifth of 6 in handicap at Doncaster (1¼m) 2 weeks ago.
Casilli
Veteran C&D winner who arrives on a long losing run and operating below her best when last seen during summer of 2025. Resumes from 12 months off operating from career-low mark, though, and worth noting she has gone well fresh previously. Cheekpieces discarded.
Little Ted
Three-time C&D winner who was just touched off in this race 12 months ago. Suggested he's coming to the boil with good runner up efforts on 2 of his last 3 starts and he lines up here on a workable mark. Possibilities.
Feliz Navidad
Mondialiste gelding who hasn't kicked on from a relatively promising debut run at Beverley in 2 subsequent outings. In good hands, though, and switch to handicaps rates a positive now tackling this longer trip. Betting should guide.
Saxon Grace (IRE)
Had been campaigned mainly over sprint trips for current yard this season but arrives firmly on the up following a pair of wins at up to 8.5f in recent days. Penalty unlikely to prevent another win if seeing out this new distance.
Horwich
Free-going sort who won his first 2 career starts for Clive Cox at the turn of the year. Below form since in handicaps for current yard, again not looking a winner in waiting despite a sliding mark when last of 6 at Nottingham (9f) 25 days ago.
Hijo De La Luna (GER)
Belatedly opened his account in a first-time visor at Wolverhampton (9.5f) back in February and he comes here having reached frame on 3 of last 4 starts, albeit not going with much zest when third at Carlisle (11f) last month. Drops back down in trip now.
Riddikulus
Ulysses filly who has found some improvement for reapplication of blinkers late, making it 2 wins from last 3 starts in a C&D handicap 3 weeks ago. Not ruled out on the back of a 4 lb rise.
Tiberio Force
Ended a lengthy losing run in a C&D classified event 12 months ago. Didn't fare too badly on first 2 outings upon returning here during the spring but he lines up here having finished well held (raced freely) in refitted blinkers at Newcastle 2 weeks ago. Well drawn to attack here.
