Timeform View

The strength of ARMOR SUPREME's Royal Ascot form narrowly gives her the edge over unexposed Concorde Landed. Several of the others should have more to offer, including Brazilian Diva and Grayrobin.

Timeform Comments

Grayrobin
Looked a sprinter going places when making it 2-2 for current yard in a conditions race at Cork last time. Dangerous to dismiss upped in class for hat-trick bid.
Star Prospect (IRE)
Impressive winner of a C&D maiden (heavy) in April. Got back on track when 1¾ lengths third behind Grayrobin at Cork (5 lb better off with that rival here) and could be worth another chance having been poorly placed at Naas last time.
April Mist (IRE)
Built on promising debut behind Brazilian Diva with a cosy victory in 8-runner maiden at Bellewstown (5f) last month. Wasn't in the same form when well behind Big Negotiator in listed event at Naas subsequently.
Armor Supreme (IRE)
Debut Goodwood maiden winner who nearly followed up in a York listed event in May. Subsequently travelled well when beaten 3¾ lengths in a Queen Mary Stakes that's working out well. That form sets the standard here.
Arrowstock (IRE)
Could only run to a similar level as previously when fourth in a big-field maiden at Cork on Friday. That form falls some way short of what's required here.
Brazilian Diva (IRE)
Cosy winner of a 5f Naas maiden before nearly following up in a listed event in there in early-July (beating subsequent winner Big Negotiator). Shaped as though still in good form in the Group 2 Molecomb at Goodwood subsequently. Interesting but Armour Supreme the pick on jockey bookings.
Concorde Landed (IRE)
€200,000 breeze-up purchase. Created a good impression when scoring by 5 lengths in a solid-looking maiden on debut at Naas (5f). Didn't build on that at the first attempt when beaten 4¼ lengths there subsequently. Still holds Group 1 entry and worth another to improve with first-time hood fitted.
New Bond Street
Progressive 200,000 gns Havana Grey filly. Finished 2 lengths third behind a couple of newcomers in C&D maiden 7 days ago. Entitled to take another step forward (still holds Group 1 entry) with Oisin Murphy taking over, for all Concorde Landed may be her excellent yard's leading hope.
Stellar Path (IRE)
Looks out of her depth on all known form, though can have a line put through her nursery debut at Sligo last time (saddle slipped).
The Baddie (IRE)
Foaled April 2. Space Traveller filly. Half-sister to 2-y-o 6f winner Serce. Dam 5f winner. Newcomer from stable that has 2 better-fancied runners.
