Timeform View

This will probably go to a hurdling debutant, with Willie Mullins-trained mare LADY LENA fancied to overcome Something Fabulous.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Lady Lena traded at a low of 1.04 and Betfair SP of 1.40 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

Something Fabulous (IRE)
Runner-up sole start in a point. Didn't kick on in bumpers after getting off the mark here last summer. Still one of the more interesting types and has good claims if settling over the longer trip on return from 4 months off.
Ajp Falco (IRE)
Showed good deal more than previously (booked for distant second) before coming to grief at Punchestown in June. Tongue strap fitted when below that form at Cork (3m) subsequently. Looks vulnerable kept to maiden company.
Goodmancon (IRE)
Modest bumper performer. In the process of showing improved form when falling 2 out at Limerick (2½m) last month. Again let down by his jumping when 16½ lengths third at Roscommon latest. Could be vulnerable to classier types, even if his hurdling holds up.
L'as De Watt (FR)
Standout effort when 66/1 runner-up on hurdles bow at Cork last winter. Fared no better for the switch to handicap company on return to Cork (2¼m) latest. Hopes pinned on first-time tongue strap/step up in trip.
Market Ready (IRE)
Third behind L'As de Watt at Cork last November. Advanced his form when runner-up on handicap bow at Clonmel (soft) in April. Hasn't fired either start this summer, though.
South Of Killerig (IRE)
Didn't kick on for Ross O'Sullivan following a promising fourth on hurdling debut here in 2024. No show in couple of points in May this year. Hard to be confident of a revival with cheekpieces added for stable debut.
Bury Your Past (IRE)
Showed little in points and did plenty wrong on Rules debut at Cork earlier this month.
Eyecanboogie (IRE)
Well held both maiden hurdle starts prior to being let down her jumping at Killarney last time.
Flowing Fast (IRE)
Maiden pointer who was well beaten on Rules debut at Cork (17f).
Lady Lena (IRE)
Confirmed the promise of her solid debut third when narrowly failing to land the odds in a Wexford bumper last October. Very interesting hurdling newcomer in context of this ordinary race and probably the one to be with.
Thelittleredfox (IRE)
Too free when trailing the field in a Killarney bumper. Likely to need more time now switched to hurdles.
