Timeform Comments

South Shore
Revitalised for new yard, making a winning stable debut at C&D at the end of June and following up with a decisive success at Wolverhampton 7 days later. Respectable second of 9 under a penalty in a handicap at Catterick (5f) last time and he should go well again.
Kiss And Run
Went off favourite having slipped back to her last winning mark but never looked like justifying that support when 3½ lengths eighth of 11 to Too Darn Good in handicap over C&D (firm) 21 days ago. Went close at C&D in May but she's almost 2 years without a win and others make more appeal.
Muker (IRE)
Dual winner last season but he's looked very uncomfortable with the pace at 5f on his last 2 outings. This does represent a much easier task, though.
Thornaby Pearl
Going through a good spell at the moment, scoring for the third time this campaign at Musselburgh just over 2 weeks ago. Not beaten far at all when third of 6 in handicap at Newmarket (5f, good to firm, 9/2) 9 days ago and he's shortlisted again.
Too Darn Good (IRE)
Back to form under an attacking ride when getting off the mark in an 11-runner handicap at this C&D (firm) 21 days ago, always holding on. Might need more again from a 3 lb higher mark.
Sunlit Sea
Back-to-back winner at Thirsk and Lingfield last month and produced another good effort despite failing to bring up the hat-trick when second of 6 in handicap at Lingfield (5f, all-weather, 6/5) 9 days ago. Makes plenty of appeal again with 7-lb claimer back aboard.
So Smart (IRE)
Gained reward for consistency when off the mark for the year at Chepstow in July and ran no better than respectably despite being allowed to race from the same mark when third there the following week. Place claims.
Bellini Spirit (IRE)
Raced freely but showed more than previously for this yard when third of 6 in handicap at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) 15 days ago. Needs to back that up dropped back to the minimum trip.
Trust Sergei
Won at Wolverhampton in June and didn't seem suited by the return to 7f when beaten 9 lengths into third at Chester next time. Fewer excuses when only ninth of 11 in claimer (66/1) at Wolverhampton (6f) 18 days ago.
