Timeform View

VON KROLOCK is having his first start on all-weather since running out a convincing winner at Wolverhampton in the spring so he could be the answer to the finale. Walking On Clouds would be a serious threat if allowed to dictate again, while it will be interesting to see if there is market support for My Mate Kev again.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

A strongly contested lead could count against Walking On Clouds, who is expected to try and race close up: A proliferation of possible pace-forcers could set things up for those coming from further back: My Mate Kev is one who may benefit.

Timeform Comments

Woolridge
Still a maiden but runner-up 3 times for previous connections on the all-weather in Ireland and turned in his best effort for current yard when third at Newcastle. Struggled back on turf since but he seems more effective on this surface.
Twilight Madness
C&D winner late last year and added to his tally at Bath in April. Has not been in the same form since, however.
Chasing Gold
Quickly dispelled Nottingham reappearance mishap when opening his account at Yarmouth in first-time blinkers. Quickly back to that level when second back there last month and seems just as effective on all-weather.
Walking On Clouds (IRE)
Reacted well to the re-fitting of blinkers to win 2 of his last 3 starts, making all over C&D in June and at Wolverhampton 6 weeks ago. Dangerous if allowed the run of things again.
My Mate Kev
Successful from a much higher mark at Newmarket last spring but largely disappointing since, failing to justify support the last twice. Has since undergone a breathing operation and it will be interesting to see if there's confidence behind him again.
Court Of Session
Capitalised on a falling mark at Nottingham in June. Down the field at Yarmouth on both subsequent outings, however, so he needs to bounce back returned to 7f/all-weather.
Von Krolock (IRE)
Resumed winning ways with a bit in hand at Wolverhampton in April. Not in the same form back on turf at Leicester next 2 starts 3 months apart but he's entitled to come on for his last run with headgear back on.
Unico
Just the one decent effort since winning at Brighton last autumn and has run poorly both starts this season.
Henry Tudor
Opened his account in a Chelmsford classified event in February. That remains a standout effort but his latest third over C&D was at least a step back in the right direction.
