Timeform View

The market should prove revealing but the vote goes to WITHTEARSINMYEYES who holds the edge on form and returns from a break with Billy Loughane an eye-catching booking. Merry rates a big threat on the back of a very good Wolverhampton handicap second, while Marco Botti's new recruit Graniteville and debutants Mile End Road and Palliser are interesting also.

Timeform Comments

Dream Of Albion (IRE)
45,000 gns yearling, Oasis Dream gelding. Half-brother to 6f winner Magical Merlin. Dam, ran once at 2 yrs, half-sister to smart 6f winner Shanghai Glory. The market can guide.
Mile End Road (IRE)
Frankel colt. Dam 2-y-o 6f winner who barely stayed 1m, won Prix Morny and second in Irish 1000 Guineas. One to consider on his debut, especially if the market vibes are positive.
Palliser
14,000 gns 3-y-o, Kingman gelding. Brother to useful 7f-9f winner Nikovo and half-brother to 3 winners, including 1¼m winner Dantora and winner up to 1m Donna Nook. Makes some appeal on paper.
Vincenzo Bellini (IRE)
Failed to build on debut fifth with sixth of 8 in maiden at Ffos Las (1m, good) 15 days ago. Has plenty to find.
Graniteville (IRE)
Fair ex-French filly who signed off for Andre Fabre with a solid sixth of 17 in maiden at Saint-Cloud (1m, good) in April. Since changed hands for 12,000 gns and not out of things for her new yard after a break.
Merry
Zoustar filly who has shaped with promise all 4 starts on the all-weather, returning from 3 months off with a very good second of 10 on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton (7f) 19 days ago. A likely player back in maiden company.
River Nile (IRE)
Teofilo filly. 9/2, encouraging debut sixth of 7 in maiden at Sandown (7f, soft) last August. Should have more to offer on her comeback, especially if the betting speaks in her favour.
Spareapenny
40/1, last of 5 in maiden at Yarmouth (7f, firm) on debut 35 days ago. Lots more is needed from this daughter of Eqtidaar.
Withtearsinmyeyes (IRE)
Fairly useful form when placed on all her 3 runs around 1m, posting a good third of 10 in maiden at Windsor (good to firm) in May. That form has proved solid so she can go very well after a break with Billy Loughnane up.
