Timeform View

FEELIN' FREE shaped well when runner-up on her debut at Ffos Las in June and with that form having been franked she is taken to go one better back from a break. The James Owen-trained duo Lucy The Wire and Bankatary appeal as the main dangers in that order.

Timeform Comments

Bankatary (FR)
Won a Huntingdon bumper on debut in October. Fair form shown in a pair of novices on Flat this year, fifth of 14 at Southwell (1½m) on latter occasion 23 days ago. Not out of things.
Gold Hill
9/2, fourth of 11 in maiden at Brighton (1m, good to soft) on debut 22 months ago for James Tate. Gelded since and can only be watched back from such a long absence fitted with a hood.
Tide Lines
Went backwards from debut Catterick fourth when seventh of 12 in novice here (11f, 25/1) 42 days ago. More is required.
Lucy The Wire (IRE)
Fair hurdler who doubled her tally at Worcester (2m) in July. Well backed and made an encouraging start in this sphere with second of 5 in maiden at Windsor (1¼m, firm) 23 days ago. Can build on that and a likely player in retained cheekpieces.
Westender
Off over 12 months before a patiently-ridden seventh of 12 in novice here (11f) 14 days ago, finishing well. Can do better still, especially over longer trips in handicaps.
Wreck It Ronnie (FR)
20/1, encouraging sixth of 10 in novice here (11f) on debut 14 days ago. This Zelzal colt is open to improvement.
Arklan (IRE)
Palace Pier gelding who is being brought along steadily, ninth of 12 in novice here (11f, 33/1) 14 days ago. Looks a stayer in the making and can do better in due course.
Liberate (FR)
Fair form shown, though failed to land the odds when second of 5 in novice at Yarmouth (1¼m, firm) 14 days ago. Open to progress over this longer trip though.
Eshowe
Has cut little ice in Wolverhampton maiden and novice at Southwell.
Quiet Summer (GER)
22/1, last of 4 in novice at Haydock (1½m, good to firm) on debut. Off 116 days and should do better in time (has a stout German pedigree).
Feelin' Free
Nathaniel filly made a promising start under considerate handling when second of 8 in maiden at Ffos Las (1¼m, soft) in June. That race has already produced 2 winners so she merits serious consideration with better to come.
St Hilda (IRE)
Fair Saxon Warrior filly. Runner-up first 2 starts this season but only sixth of 8 in handicap at Sandown (1¼m, good to firm) last month. More is needed over this longer trip.
