MUSKERRY ROCK was in command some way out when scoring at Newton Abbot 5 weeks ago and can win again. Smugglers Haven could be the danger back over fences having been in good form over hurdles.

Timeform Comments

Smugglers Haven (IRE)
Good strike rate over hurdles (successful again at Fontwell in May, ran well at Uttoxeter 6 weeks ago) and potentially well handicapped on recent form having won a big-field handicap chase for amateur riders at Cheltenham on his last completed start in this sphere in October.
Palamon (IRE)
Successful at Bangor (2½m) in March. Excuses in messy race at Sandown in April and given a considerate return from 3 months off (had another breathing operation in interim) at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago. Muskerry Rock looks the pick of the stable duo.
Muskerry Rock (IRE)
Has made a good start for this yard, narrowly denied in 2 handicap hurdles before scoring readily in 3¼m Newton Abbot handicap chase 5 weeks ago. Up just 5 lb and seems sure to go well again.
King Roly
Took well to chasing in first half of last season, winning 3 times in small fields. Good second at Market Rasen in June but struggled in the competitive Summer Plate back there next time. Blinkers now tried back up in trip.
Harrys Hope (IRE)
Won 3m handicap chases at Warwick and Uttoxeter last summer. Didn't travel with her customary fluency when second at Stratford on return but better than the bare result at Worcester next time and has slipped in the weights. Cheekpieces go on. Weak-finishing tendencies need keeping in mind.
Yes Day (IRE)
Proving more consistent than usual but extended his losing run to 12 all the same when second at Market Rasen (3m) last month, left behind by the winner from 3 out. Others preferred for the win.
