Timeform View

FEMME MAGNIFIQUE is thriving for David Harry Kelly and a 9 lb rise for last month's C&D win looks well within range. Piccolo Player and Ballybrittas head the opposition.

Timeform Comments

Crowsatedappletart (IRE)
Likeable sort who won 3 times over fences last year and kicked off this season in top form when landing a 10-runner handicap at Wexford in May. Failed to cash in on lower hurdles mark at Cork 17 days ago.
Femme Magnifique (IRE)
Made a successful stable debut in 2m Tramore handicap in May and has continued the excellent work since, travelling strongly before hammering 8 rivals over C&D a month ago. 9 lb rise may not prevent further success.
War Correspondent (IRE)
Untrustworthy sort who stepped up on recent stable debut when 3 lengths third of 6 to Emerald Time over hurdles at Uttoxeter last month. Always behind back over the larger obstacles at Galway 18 days ago.
Costacurta (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler who found 2m inadequate on chase debut at Tramore in May but stepped up on that significantly when chasing home Garnacho in 19.5f novice at Wexford a month later. Too free to see it out over 2½m on handicap debut and now back in distance.
Beauforts Storm (IRE)
Second of 6 in a mares maiden chase at Tramore in May before unseating the following start. Last of 7 reverting to hurdling at Sligo but ran as well as could be expected at Wexford a month ago.
Stuntman Steve (IRE)
Hasn't matched his fairly useful winning hurdles form in 7 starts over fences, though he hasn't always had the rub of the green, Right back on his game when fifth over the smaller obstacles and task is to back that up.
Kilbrin Rocco (IRE)
Twice a winner over fences last season, including at Tramore in April. Runner-up at Wexford the following month and easy-enough to excuse last month's return from a short break (badly hampered early).
Ballybrittas (IRE)
Jumped better than has been the case when landing 7-runner handicap at Wexford last month. Up 6 lb and gave a pretty good account of himself back there 12 days ago. Yard in form and he can remain competitive.
Piccolo Player (IRE)
Fair form over hurdles, winning on his second start last season before placing twice in handicaps. Solid if unspectacular start to chase career and he can give another good account back in a handicap.
