Timeform View

TACHOS and Bella Colombia are weighted to finish much closer than they did here 2 weeks ago. Dermot Weld's mare should get a more efficient trip from stall 1 this time and may just be able to reverse that form with the addition of first-time headgear.

Timeform Comments

Pink Oxalis (IRE)
Hold-up type. Winner of a valuable C&D handicap last autumn. Caught further back than ideal when returning to form at Galway last time, only beaten 5 lengths in a solid-looking handicap.
Mallavelly (IRE)
Third behind Pink Oxalis in a competitive C&D event last autumn. In similar form when consecutive placed efforts here this summer before disappointing at Galway. C&D winner is fancied to bounce back with cheekpieces added for first time since joining Ger Lyons.
Glory To Be (IRE)
Doubled her tally for the year in better company at Fairyhouse (7f) last month. Seemingly anchored by rise in the weights when well held in 6½f handicap here subsequently and didn't improve for the step up to this trip on sole previous attempt.
Duchess Of Kenli (FR)
Unexposed 3-y-o from family yard has had success with. Didn't go unbacked when making it second time lucky on return at Galway (1m) last month. Handicapper hasn't taken any chances, though her Group 3 entry suggests there could be a fair bit more to come.
Thrifty Of Digby (IRE)
Versatile mare took advantage of a falling mark at Roscommon prior to gamely following up at Gowran in June. Straight back to form when 1½ lengths third on return to the latter course (7f) earlier this month, and she may again get the run of the race here.
Marmeladova (IRE)
Impressed with the way she went through the race when doubling her tally at this course (1¼m) in July. No impact over contrasting trips at Curragh/Tramore since, though, and she may just have gone off the boil.
Bella Colombia (IRE)
Followed up her comfortable Killarney success in a 9f handicap here last time, short of room before showing a potent turn of foot to get first run on fast-finishing runner-up. She's in the form of her life and an 8-lb rise is unlikely to prevent another bold showing.
Tachos (IRE)
Successful in a fairly useful 9f course handicap last June. Shaped encouragingly in the face of a wide trip when 3¼ lengths third to Bella Colombia latest. Should benefit from the return of Chris Hayes/first-time cheekpieces, and a big run is expected off 2 lb lower than last year's winning mark.
