Timeform View

OCEAN FORCE is a lightly-raced gelding who hasn't been seen to best effect in qualifying for a mark and could well transform now switched to handicaps for shrewd connections. Both Bajan Bandit and Dandy Khan have contested better races than this lately and are feared most.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Whitesnake traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts: Dandy Khan has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Bajan Bandit
Seems to be finding some consistency, finishing second of 12 at Wolverhampton in July before third of 11 in a handicap at Haydock over 7f 13 days ago. Now back up in trip and down in 0-60 company for the first time in his career so is one to consider.
Dandy Khan (IRE)
Better on all-weather than turf and came third of 11 in a handicap here over 7f 16 days ago despite a very slow start. Steps back up in trip and is one to take seriously dropped in grade, though she does come with some risks attached given her recent starting issues.
Muy Muy Loco (IRE)
Won twice at this course over 1¼m but was too free when sixth of 8 in a handicap at Kempton over 11f in March. Back down to 1m on return from 155-day absence and may need the outing.
Francisco
Course winner from this mark at 7f in April but not hit the same heights since. Not disgraced when making the frame last time but more is required.
Onslow Gardens (IRE)
Yet to win in 22 starts and little promise when ninth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton 21 days ago on stable debut. First-time cheekpieces now tried.
Mount Mogan
Five-time course winner and shaped as if needing run when fourth of 7 over 6f at Epsom 21 days ago. Now back up in trip and should come on for that outing back on all-weather.
Manton Road
Back in form recently and won a 7f handicap at Wolverhampton 21 days ago in first-time cheekpieces. 4 lb higher mark to contend with here but he won off higher marks last year and should remain competitive if not too badly inconvenienced by a wide stall.
Whitesnake
Lightly-raced sort who has made a solid enough start to life in handicaps, finishing third to subsequent winners both outings. Probably needs this step up in trip to unlock a bit of progress, while her draw looks no help, either.
Withoutfurtherado (IRE)
Yet to win from 15 starts and only fifth of 6 at Yarmouth 23 days ago. Cheekpieces removed and he's got plenty to prove back down in trip.
Ocean Force (IRE)
Unexposed sort who really caught the eye under considerate handling over 7f on turf here on third outing and wasn't seen to best effect when last seen. Now switches back to all-weather and steps up to 1m with plenty of scope for progress on handicap debut.
Nubough (IRE)
Veteran who finished runner-up at this course over 7f in January but was below form after and now returns from 91 days off with the worst of the draw to contend with.
Warrnambool (GER)
Frustrating maiden who didn't show much when 11th of 12 in handicap at Lingfield over 1¼m having rejoined this yard 9 days ago, racing freely. Now back down in trip with first-time visor applied.
