Timeform View

GUNFIGHTER (in the absence of stablemate Split Elevens) looks the way to go having not been seen to best effect at Wolverhampton 3 weeks ago. 3-y-os Powder Monkey and Paranjape could be the biggest dangers.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Powder Monkey traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 4 starts.

Timeform Comments

Red Hat Eagle
Hasn't fired this year but is edging down the weights. Poorly placed when fifth of 7 in a handicap over C&D 12 days ago. Wears a tongue strap for the first time and drops back down in grade.
Bold Suitor
Won narrowly over C&D in April but was last of 7 in higher grade here 12 days ago. Blinkers back on and returned to his right level so should do better.
The Bitter Moose (IRE)
C&D winner who was third of 5 in a handicap at Brighton in June with visor reapplied last time. More required back on all-weather after 59 days off.
Dancing Rinca (USA)
Poor strike rate in America and hasn't pulled up any trees on either start in this country. Plenty more required back on all-weather with first-time cheekpieces applied.
Gunfighter (IRE)
Won over 7f at Southwell in July but couldn't follow up when seventh of 10 at Wolverhampton 20 days ago, not settling fully when the pace was slack. Could get a stronger tempo to chase here and could bounce back for in-form yard.
Sant Alessio (IRE)
Won at Wolverhampton on the all-weather last November but has struggled on turf since. Fourth of 7 at Bath in July, though still below that winning form. Back on the all-weather where his record is a better one.
State Of Madness
Showed promise when second of 5 at Brighton in June but wasn't in the same form when fourth of 6 there 14 days ago. Largely consistent so is capable of bouncing back returned to all-weather.
Double Time
Front runner who last won in October at Kempton on all-weather but was last of 12 at Sandown 28 days ago, shaping as if badly needing the run after 6 months off. Returns to all-weather but needs to strip a lot fitter for that reappearance run.
Dontspoilasale (IRE)
Being brought along gradually since joining this yard and didn't show much when last of 6 at Brighton 14 days ago. Now returns to all-weather but remains without the headgear he wore for former stable.
Starlight Sami (IRE)
Progressed when third over C&D in April before winning at Salisbury in May, but has run below form both starts since. Needs the return to all-weather to spark him back into form.
Split Elevens
Four-time C&D winner who won at this track 7 days ago, beating 11 rivals. Not so well drawn here and races under a penalty but he is in the form of his life and from a stable that continues to go particularly well so is hard to rule out. NON RUNNER.
Yachtsman
Off the mark at Windsor over 6f in May having failed to stay 7f previously. Below form when ninth of 12 at Wolverhampton 34 days ago and now steps back up to 7f with stamina a concern.
Powder Monkey (IRE)
Showed promise when second on debut but hasn't kicked on since. No progress when sixth of 14 on handicap debut at Windsor in May when gelded and tried sprinting for first time. Back up to 7f after 89 days off and less exposed than most of these so not without hope.
Paranjape
Second at Southwell over 6f in April after 4 months off but hasn't recaptured that form since, including upped to 1m last time. First-time cheekpieces now applied.
