Timeform View

Chloe Lyons has struck up an excellent partnership with CHERRY COBBLER and given the margins involved over C&D last week, he's wisely turned out under a penalty. Cancan In The Rain and Mr Writer head the opposition.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Sunny Smile traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Cherry Cobbler
Gained reward for a string of consistent efforts when doubling his tally for Chloe Lyons over C&D 5 days ago. 5 lb penalty for that 6-length hammering may not prevent the follow up.
Where's Freddy (IRE)
Third C&D success of his career when proving ¾ length too strong for Jumby last month. Is prone to the odd mishap out of the stalls and that was very much the case back here 3 weeks ago.
Paladin (IRE)
Well prepared to make a winning stable debut at Wolverhampton in January and better still when second of 8 at Ascot last month despite early exuberance. Disappointing effort trying to win a Redcar handicap for the second time 12 days ago, though.
Mr Writer (IRE)
Finished fifth in a warm Goodwood handicap over 1m in June and successful over 7f either side of that. Didn't meet expectations at Ascot 4 weeks ago but could easily bounce back.
Cancan In The Rain (IRE)
Successful at Southwell and this C&D last summer. Has made a bright start for emerging yard, faring best of those held up when 1½ lengths fourth in big-field Ascot handicap last month and also better than the result at York 2 weeks later. Cheekpieces replace visor and he's on the shortlist.
Sunny Smile (IRE)
Successful in a Hamilton maiden (good to firm) last summer. Yet to repeat his juvenile form this season, brushed aside from the front after a breathing operation at Sandown (7f) 2 weeks ago.
Here I Bow (FR)
Fairly useful 7f winner when trained in France last year. However, has finished down the field in 3 handicaps for current yard this season, including after a breathing operation at Brighton 2 weeks ago.
Piscean Star
Winning debut at Kempton last summer and similar form when second at Chelmsford a month later. Gelded ahead of reappearance and failed to find necessary improvement to defy opening mark 2 weeks ago (7f).
Dashing Dick (IRE)
Best when able to lead and returned to form having dipped below last winning mark when third here over 7f in June. Brushed aside when returned to 1m here latest and he's into the veteran stage of his career.
Sun Of Dolly
Yet to win a race but ran right up to form when second of 7 at Epsom 3 weeks ago. Tends to hit a flat spot so will likely need a good test kept to 7f.
