Timeform View

FANCIULLA DEL WEST needs to shrug off a lesser effort at Newbury when last seen 50 days ago but she'd previously highlighted this sort of mark is an exploitable one when second at Redcar in May and is afforded another chance to get back on the up. Jim & Suzi Best's recent acquisition Liberate is another to note, with Emma's Letter completing the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Miss Guinevere has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on its last 3 starts.

Timeform Comments

Liberate
Goodwood novice winner for James Horton during 2025 who caught the eye from a sliding mark in a couple of big-field Curragh handicaps earlier this term for Denis Hogan. Not seen to best effect on final start for that yard at Galway last month and she's not discounted now debuting for new stable.
Fanciulla Del West
Promise in trio of novice events and step forward when second on handicap debut at Redcar (1¼m) in May, headed over 1f out but pulling clear of the rest. Not in same form when well held at Newbury (also lost a shoe) last month but she's not one to be writing off.
Emma's Letter
Seemed suited by the drop to 1¼m when off the mark for the season in 6-runner handicap at Nottingham 2 starts back. Saw off a next-time-out winner then and wasn't disgraced in a tactical race when third of 4 at Lingfield since. and she's not discounted.
Miss Guinevere (IRE)
Camelot filly who ran to a similar level as previously when fourth of 8 on qualifying run in a 1m Yarmouth maiden in June. Does now get her first crack at a handicap over a longer trip that promises to suit, though, and she could yet do better. Hood goes back on.
Port Darwin (IRE)
Opened account for the season minus any headgear at Hamilton (9f) in June. Shade below that level next 2 starts but posted just about a career best when resuming winning ways at Brighton (1¼m, good) 16 days ago, staying on to lead line. This looks a little tougher from 2 lb higher, however.
