OVIEDO retains plenty of handicapping scope on old form and will surely prove hard to beat under a 5 lb penalty if turning up here in similar form to his wide-margin win the previous week. Last year's winner Cypriot Diaspora turned in her best effort of the season over C&D on her most recent outing and is feared most ahead of last-time-out scorer Kaleidoscope Eyes.

Green Icon (FR)
Unreliable type who failed to see things out on first run since leaving Denis Hogan when bit below form seventh of 12 in handicap at Chepstow (7f, good to firm) 36 days ago. Cheekpieces back on.
Ravenglass (IRE)
Twelve runs since last win in 2025 but again wasn't seen to best effect when sixth of 12 in handicap at Chepstow (7f, good to firm, 13/2) 36 days ago, making late headway after being forced to switch final 1f. Not ruled out if things pan out a bit more favourably.
