Timeform View

GERT LUSH arrives in good form and wasn't seen to best effect at Lingfield earlier this month. She gets the nod. Lapidarist and Charencey may provide the chief threat.

Timeform Comments

A Rose Adaay
Yet to win in 11 career runs but has performed with credit in recent starts, latest when fourth of 12 in handicap at Chepstow (1m, good to firm) 12 days ago. Ought to give another good account.
Charencey (IRE)
Not scored since 2024 but he's knocking on the door, making the frame again when creditable third of 11 in minor event at Lingfield (1½m, AW, 9/4) 10 days ago. A likely player again.
City Escape (IRE)
Dual scorer in 2025 but yet to really fire this term, well beaten at Chepstow latest. Others more convincing.
Gert Lush (IRE)
Consistent mare who posted another good effort when second of 6 in handicap (9/2) over shorter trip at Lingfield 17 days ago, having hopeless task from position. Shortlist material.
King Of The Dance (IRE)
Made the frame on several occasions this year but ran poorly here earlier this month and it's been some time since he got his head in front. Blinkers back on.
Prophet Squeeze (IRE)
Displays more temperament than ability and is readily passed over.
Racing Demon
Best effort this term came when close second at Chepstow (1m) in June but he continues to have issues at the start which makes him difficult to recommended despite his appealing mark.
Strong Man Tom
Yet to show any ability in 6 runs and no surprise that headgear is now reached for.
Typeface
Course winner who made the frame again, in first-time cheekpieces, when creditable third of 6 in handicap (10/3) at Leicester (1¼m, good to firm) 30 days ago. One of likelier contenders.
Elora Prince (IRE)
Long-standing maiden in Ireland for Kieran Cotter. Better effort for new yard when fourth of 10 in classified event over C&D in June and not seen to best effect at Windsor since. Can make presence felt.
Lapidarist
Maiden who showed enough to think she's got a race in her when runner-up at Wolverhampton in March and got back to that sort of form when creditable second of 6 in minor event at Lingfield (1¼m, good to firm, 5/1) 20 days ago. Respected.
