Timeform View

A trappy sprint in which preference is for ETERNAL SUNSHINE, who got back to her very best when just denied over C&D recently and Jim Goldie's mare looks ready to open her account for the season. Vantheman deserves credit for his consistency, so he could emerge as the biggest threat, with the selection's stablemate Jordan Electrics rounding off the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Sir Yoshi traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts: Sturlasson traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Germanic (IRE)
Free-going sort who was well held in top-end turf handicaps last summer. Proved at least as good as ever when resuming winning ways on the all-weather at Newcastle in January and shaped as if needing the run returned to turf after 6 months off at Goodwood recently. Handicapper drops him 3 lb.
Advertised (IRE)
Dual winner at Newcastle last year and picked up right where he'd left off when second of 13 at Newmarket on return in April. Well beaten on both subsequent starts and now drops in grade returning from a 10-week break.
Sir Yoshi (IRE)
Sole success came in maiden at Tipperary back in May 2024. Hasn't been long with current yard and looked to be building up to something when close third at Pontefract last month. Best excused his Ascot effort since and looks interesting from a career-low mark.
Sturlasson (IRE)
Showed improved form for this stable last year, winning 3 times with latest success at Southwell (5f) in November. Has run well when making the frame twice from 4 starts this season, ½-length fourth of 7 at Goodwood (6f, soft) back in June.
Tatterstall (IRE)
Proved he retains his ability following a couple of significant absences. Went close over C&D in June but was found out back in better company when down the field at Goodwood (5f, good to firm) just over 3 weeks ago. Considered in first-time cheekpieces.
Vantheman (IRE)
C&D winner in May and deserves credit for the consistency he's shown since, fifth of 11 over C&D (good to firm) just under 3 weeks ago. One to keep an eye on back down in grade.
Jordan Electrics
Three-time C&D winner. Back to winning ways in first-time cheekpieces at Ayr (6f, firm) last month and a 4 lb rise shouldn't prevent another prominent showing if the headgear continues to work.
Eternal Sunshine
Reached a useful level last year, completing a hat-trick in the Portland at Doncaster. Has had a bit of an in-and-out campaign so far but produced her best effort of the season when second of 11 over C&D (good to firm) just under 3 weeks ago. Nudged up 2 lb and can regain the winning thread.
Stargazed
Fair 5f winner at 2 yrs who resumed with a very good second at York in May. Below that form since though, again slowly away at York on Wednesday when tried in headgear.
Canon's House
Won 4 times in 2025, including over C&D. Posted another solid effort when fourth of 11 over C&D (good to firm) recently and not without each-way hope back down in class.
Parisiac (IRE)
3-time winner at 5f in 2025 who resumed with a C&D success in June. Runner-up on next 2 starts but his run of good form came to a halt at Ayr last time.
Oriental Prince
Seven-time winner in 2025 (6 victories on all-weather). Got back on track returned to 5f when second of 11 over C&D (good to firm) just under 3 weeks ago but he's blown rather hot and cold so far this season.
Justmyluck
Won at Newcastle on all-weather in January but has struggled since, including when ninth of 10 at Doncaster (5.6f, firm) 6 days ago.
