SIR GARFIELD went within a flared nostril of notching his third success of the year at Epsom last week so, provided this doesn't come too soon, John & Sean Quinn's 5-y-o gets the nod to make amends. Lipsink ran a cracker when second on return at Sandown 10 weeks ago and he looks set for another big run, with Abduction and Wreck It Ryley another couple of runners fancied to be in the shake-up, too.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Abduction traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 25% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Shoot To Kill traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP 4 times on 5 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Hunky Dory
Dual all-weather winner. Caught wider than ideal when third of 11 in claimer at Wolverhampton on final start for Jack Morland and was not disgraced starting out for this yard at Carlisle on Wednesday.
Sir Garfield (IRE)
Better than ever when winning at Catterick and Epsom (edged out the subsequent winner of Ascot's International Handicap) on first 2 starts this season. Not seen to best effect the next twice but back on song when going down by a nose at Epsom (6f, firm) last week. Can make amends.
Lipsink (IRE)
Completed a hat-trick with all-the-way success at Wolverhampton (6f) in October. Resumed from 7 months off with good second of 9 at Sandown (5f) 10 weeks ago. Each-way claims off the same mark.
Jannas Journey (IRE)
Had a remarkable 2025 campaign, winning 7 from 8 starts over summer. Back to winning ways at Carlisle (1m, good) early last month but needs to shrug off a lesser effort at Ayr just under 2 weeks ago (raced freely). Back sprinting for the first time in over a year.
Wreck It Ryley (IRE)
Landed a gamble at Leicester (6f) in April. Largely running well since, third of 26 at Goodwood (6f, good to firm) just over 3 weeks ago. Nudged up 2 lb and every chance he'll be in the mix again.
Belsito (GER)
Career-best effort when successful over C&D in June, making it 3 wins from his last 3 visits to this venue. Again ran well when third of 12 at Southwell (6f) since (better placed than most) and can continue his good work.
Shoot To Kill (IRE)
Returned to form with back-to-back placed efforts in May and cranked it up another notch in form terms when third of 15 at Fairyhouse early last month. Shaped as if still in good form from a poor draw at Galway since but will probably find a few too strong.
Abduction (FR)
C&D winner last summer who made it 4 placings on the spin when going down by a nose in 5-runner event at Ayr (7f, good to firm) last month. Every chance of extending that run from the same mark.
Stirrup Cup
Took advantage of a drop back in grade when winning apprentice handicap at Carlisle in June. Not ideally placed when fifth of 8 over C&D 9 days later and has been off since. Cheekpieces reapplied.
Ashen (IRE)
Not long with present stable when opening account at Ayr in May. Has made the frame in all bar one of his starts since, most recently when second of 11 at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm) a fortnight ago.
Whiskey Kisses (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 11 starts but ran well on form despite being easy to back when second of 13 at Ayr (6f, good to firm) just under a fortnight ago. More needed if she's to open her account here.
