Timeform View

TANJEN put an easy lead to good use at C&D last week and is technically 6 lb "well in" without a penalty, so makes obvious appeal as she bids to follow up. The hat-trick seeking King of The Jungle is highly respected after a 9-week break, with Startling also a player after several good efforts in defeat.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Tanjen traded at a high of 4.30 and Betfair SP of 5.10 when winning last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Jm Jhingree (IRE)
Bounced back to winning ways fitted with cheekpieces at Hamilton (5f) in June. Form has been in and out since and hasn't beaten a rival on his last 2 outings, most recently at Catterick on Monday.
Thistle Nil (IRE)
Caused a major upset on his third start when just holding on to win an 8-runner maiden (200/1) over 6f at Ayr but hasn't replicated that form in 2 handicaps since, struggling badly with the pace dropped to this trip at Ayr last month.
King Of The Jungle (IRE)
As good as ever at present, taking 5f handicaps at Beverley (good form) and Ayr (had bit in hand) in May/June. Up to a career-high mark but manner of most recent success suggests he can go well in hat-trick bid.
Hi Lord
Won C&D handicap in May and quickly back to form when third, beaten 2 lengths, at Ayr last month. Ended up rather away from where the action developed after meeting trouble leaving the stalls there last time and he's worth treating as if still in decent heart.
Harb
Doubled his tally for the year at Carlisle in May. Mixed record since but would have finished closer with a clearer passage at Hamilton on his penultimate outing and shaped a bit better than the result (made effort away from other principals) when fifth of 12 in handicap at Ayr (5f) 13 days ago.
Tanjen (IRE)
A dual 5f scorer in 2025 and after a low-key start to this season, proved as good as ever when capitalising on a lower turf mark in a 7-runner handicap at this C&D (good to firm, 7/2) 10 days ago by 3½ lengths from Never Dark. 6 lb "well in" without a penalty and she makes appeal again.
Impressor (IRE)
C&D winner. Third over 6f at Hamilton in June and might've needed the outing after an 8-week break when tenth of 13 in handicap at Ayr (6f, good to firm) 13 days ago. Visor on 1st time.
Startling
A 4-time winner over 5f for David O'Meara and proving consistent in defeat for current yard, running another sound race to hit the frame for the fifth successive time when second over Ayr 13 days ago. One to consider.
Never Dark
On a long losing run but went with more promise than for a while from a reduced mark when 3½ lengths second of 7 to Tanjen in handicap (9/2) at this C&D (good to firm) 10 days ago.
Supremissy (IRE)
Much improved when making successful handicap debut at Musselburgh (5f) in June, settling better off the pace and reeling in the trailblazing runner-up late in the day. Struggled to land a blow from a poor draw at Ayr last time and remains reasonably unexposed in handicaps.
Falcon Queen (IRE)
Bred to be useful and produced a more promising effort with the benefit of a good draw when fourth of 12 in handicap at Ayr (5f, good to firm, 50/1) 13 days ago. Now needs to back that up.
Doon The Glen
Better than ever when notching a second 6f success of the season in July and produced the best effort of his 3 since when fifth of 13 in handicap at Ayr (6f, good, 15/2) 11 days ago. Will need to take another step back in the right direction to win this.
Kyber Crystal (IRE)
Hasn't been competitive in 5 starts since reappearance, not quickening for pressure when fifth of 11 in handicap at Carlisle (6f, firm, 40/1) 43 days ago.
