Timeform View

The addition of first-time cheekpieces may be a catalyst for DIAMOND TIPP to record a second hurdles victory. Handicap debutant Solar Generation looks interesting, especially if supported. Parkgarve, Blue Reed and Mysilverriverfeale are others to consider in a competitive event.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Cocovic traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Diamond Tipp traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Cloonainra (IRE)
Well below her fairly useful best this season, beaten 21¼ lengths at Galway last time. Does at least benefit from an ease in grade here.
Magic Day (IRE)
Sole success came in a mares handicap here in April 2025. Only 2 lb above that mark and bounced back to form when 5½ lengths second of 10 over C&D, going with zest in first-time cheekpieces.
Mysilverriverfeale (IRE)
Low-mileage 5-y-o. Bounced back to form when readily winning a C&D novice last time, the runner-up since franking that form. Handicapper hasn't taken any chances with her opening mark, though she's less exposed than most in this field.
Somersby Roost (IRE)
Got off the mark in taking fashion at Cork (19f) in early-May. Leap of faith required now, having pulled up both starts since.
Bhean Saibhre (IRE)
Strong-travelling sort who won opened her account in a Ballinrobe maiden this time last year. Back to her best on return to that venue when 3¾ lengths second on latest start (17f). That form has taken a couple of knocks, though.
Cocovic (IRE)
Lightly-raced 6-y-o who finished runner-up 3 times in maidens last year. Shaped encouragingly when third at Limerick (soft) on handicap debut/reappearance but failed to build on that returned to less testing conditions there 7 weeks ago.
Pride Of Place (IRE)
Fairly useful chaser, winner of Killarney National in May. Third in the Midlands National here (25f) latest. Switches to timber for first time since joining Enda Bolger (latest hurdle run in early-2024). Could find this on the sharp side as he bids to capitalise on appreciably lower mark.
Secret Rock (IRE)
Made a smooth winning start for current yard here (2m) in May. Hasn't kicked on from that (form hardly looked robust), though should at least benefit from a return to this track.
Emesteraye (IRE)
Lightly-raced 5-y-o. Best effort when beaten just over 2½ lengths in a mares handicap at Galway last time, enjoying a dream run through on the inner. Back against the boys but the longer trip/likely strong pace may see her take another step forward.
Paul Collins (IRE)
Off the mark in a 22f handicap at Galway (soft) last Autumn. Showed ability remains when third in a Roscommon claimer last month but didn't build on that promise returned to Galway subsequently.
Diamond Tipp (IRE)
Successful at the first time of asking over hurdles at Downpatrick last summer. Fallen a long way in the weights since and bounced back to form on third start for present yard when 8 lengths second at Cork last time. Addition of cheekpieces expected to benefit and remains on a handy mark.
The Monkey Pole (IRE)
Lightly-raced 6-y-o. Runner-up in pair of maiden hurdles last August. Looked to be going the wrong way before step back in right direction when well-held third under a more positive ride in a Cork novice latest. Opening mark doesn't look insurmountable if recapturing last summer's form.
Parkgarve (IRE)
Decisively capitalised on his falling mark under an enterprising ride at Downpatrick last time. He's probably capable of defying a 9 lb rise, provided blinkers again have a positive effect.
Malikanna (IRE)
Low-mileage 5-y-o who was much improved when second at Limerick (2m, heavy) in March. In better heart than the form figures of her 2 starts this season might suggest, and the booking of Mark Walsh catches the eye.
Blue Reed (FR)
Belatedly off the mark over C&D in late-May. Ran right up to his best when narrowly undone by a totally unexposed one here (2m) last time. Should be in the mix off 3 lb higher.
Solar Generation (IRE)
Showed a bit more under a considerate ride when 11½ lengths fifth of 14 in a course novice (2m) in mid-May, not ideally placed the way things unfolded, either. Type to make much more impact now handicapping, especially if the market speaks in his favour.
Kome Dans Un Reve (FR)
Hasn't improved for the switch to handicaps, trailing a field of 6 at Tramore (2m) 8 days ago. RESERVE
Steps In The Sand (IRE)
In frame last 3 starts over hurdles, posting another respectable effort when 4½ lengths fourth of 16 at Sligo earlier this month. Slightly longer trip/forecast strong pace both positives. RESERVE
Andyourbirdcansing (IRE)
Inconsistent performer took advantage of a slipping mark under this good-value claimer at Sligo last month. Probably wasn't helped by the drop in trip when below form there (2¼m) subsequently. RESERVE
