Timeform View

Fifth in a Galway maiden that has already produced a couple of subsequent winners, DAD SEZ could be tough to beat second time up under Rules. Benner Wenner appeals most of the remainder.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Dad Sez traded at a low of 42.00 and Betfair SP of 26.00 when losing last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Benner Wenner (FR)
Showed more than on debut when 5½ lengths second at Wexford (good to firm) in early-June, shaping like a stayer. Forecast rain likely to benefit, and he could take another step forward on just third start for top yard.
Dad Sez (IRE)
Upsides when unseating sole start in points. Shaped encouragingly when 6¼ lengths fifth of 20 on his hurdling debut at Galway (2¾m, good to soft). That form is working out well, and he sets a high standard here.
Go To The Moon (IRE)
Successful on second of 2 starts in points. Turned out again quickly and stepped up in trip after much better effort over hurdles earlier this week.
L'as De Watt (FR)
Standout effort when 66/1 runner-up on hurdles bow at Cork last winter. Fared no better for the switch to handicap company on return to Cork (2¼m) latest. Hopes pinned on first-time tongue strap/significant step up in trip.
Georges Park (IRE)
Order of St George gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to smart hurdler/chaser (stayed 2½m) Made In Taipan and fairly useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 25f) Made In Time (both successful on their respective Rules debuts). At least worth a market check on racecourse bow.
Idaho Expresso (IRE)
Won only once from 9 point starts. Hood/tongue strap on and showed first form over hurdles when distant fifth at Sligo (2¼m) last time. Significantly up in trip, and this is probably a springboard to handicaps.
Lady Felicia (IRE)
Jukebox Jury mare out of a fairly useful dam (stayed 3m). Ran to a similar level in pair of maiden hurdles at Ballinrobe, latterly beaten 11¼ lengths in a first-time tongue strap (17f). One to note for each-way support now upped markedly in trip.
Pacy Macie (IRE)
Runner-up on the middle of 3 starts in points. Showed a bit when 21½ lengths third of 11 at Wexford on her Rules debut (40/1). She'll likely have more realistic opportunities in handicaps, though.
