Timeform View

SEAXBURH has been crying out for at least 1m for some time and is taken to make an immediate impact on nursery debut. Margot Mae’s standout maiden effort has been boosted since and she rates the chief threat, especially if any rain arrives, while Belicoso has seemingly been brought along with handicaps in mind and should also appreciate the step up in trip.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Margot Mae could be advantaged by a prominent position which looks likely in this field: Of the better-fancied horses, Maggie Walker is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Belicoso (IRE)
Stepped up on previous maiden starts when 2 lengths third of 6 to West Of Eden at Down Royal in July. Type to progress further now tackling a nursery, with the step up to 1m looking likely to suit on pedigree.
Margot Mae (IRE)
115,000 gns Starspangledbanner filly who posted by far her best effort in maidens when a close third to Blonde Over Blue in a 10-runner Leopardstown event (soft) in June. A repeat of that performance would see her firmly in the mix, with any rainfall likely only to strengthen her claims.
Seaxburh (IRE)
Saxon Warrior filly who has shown fair form when placed in 7f maidens on her last 3 starts, runner-up twice before pulling clear of the rest when third to Oristown Boy at Galway latest. Capable of better now tackling a nursery, with the step up to 1m looking sure to suit. Major claims.
Razmataz (IRE)
Little impact in a trio of maidens up to an extended 7f and needs to improve markedly if he's to feature here. Gelded since last seen.
Maggie Walker (IRE)
Made an immediate impact when landing a restricted 6f maiden at Cork in May before being set a stiff task in a Group 2 event won by Sun Goddess at the Curragh in June. Step up to 1m should suit based on her pedigree but others make more appeal.
Old Joanie (IRE)
Has failed to build on debut effort in 2 subsequent starts in maidens but may have more to offer now tackling a nursery and upped in trip. Wears first-time tongue strap and worth noting if the market speaks in her favour.
Elyatta (IRE)
Trio of runs in maidens appear to have been all about laying a platform for nurseries/handicaps but the handicapper doesn't appear to have let him off lightly. Wears first-time tongue strap.
Fine Line (IRE)
Well held on all 3 starts in maidens and didn't improve for switch to a nursery last time.
