Timeform View

HARDY WARRIOR boasts a progressive profile and is taken to cope with the step back up in grade in a race in which conditions look in his favour. Jagged Edge is in much better form than his most recent effort suggests and can make his presence felt, while Carolina Jetstream looks capable of getting back on track returned to calmer waters.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Hardy Warrior traded at a low of 7.40 and Betfair SP of 7.04 when losing last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Cristal Clere (IRE)
Useful gelding who won a 1m listed race at Listowel in 2025. Has struggled on both outings this year, though, looking particularly laboured when 13 lengths sixth of 10 to Layfayette in 1½m similar event at Limerick last time. Looks up against it back down in trip.
East Hampton
Returned to action with a fine second behind Big Gossey in 7f Gladness Stakes on heavy ground at the Curragh in March but has failed to match that in 2 subsequent efforts. Best form has come in softer conditions.
Jagged Edge (IRE)
Won the Irish Cambridgeshire last summer and better than ever when scoring in impressive style on yard debut at Naas in May. Shaped much better than the bare result in Royal Hunt Cup next time and ran well to finish third of 17 in the BMW Mile last month. Effort best excused last time. Shortlisted.
Carolina Jetstream
All 4 career victories at Dundalk but posted career-best efforts in 1m Group races at the Curragh and Ascot in May/June. Well held in 1¼m Group 1 at the Curragh latest but respected back in calmer waters and returned to 1m.
Quebec (GER)
Useful performer in Germany for Andreas Suborics who having changed hands for €125,000, has finished well held at long odds on both starts in Group company this season. At least worth a look in the betting on just her third start for current yard, though.
Rion Rubette
Won at Gowran in April and followed up over same C&D 7 weeks later, getting the better of Greydreambeliever on both occasions. Bounced back from lesser effort when neck second to Rebel Wave returned to same venue last time. This represents a big step up in class, though.
Subsonic (IRE)
Much-improved third in listed race at Gowran on return but has had her limitations exposed at this level and higher since, and will need to suddenly resume progress if she's to make much of a splash here.
Syzygy
Useful performer who has stepped up from handicaps and held her own in better company on her last 2 starts, chasing home Duckadilly in a listed race at Navan in June before finishing fourth of 6 in the Meld Stakes at Leopardstown last time. Likely to be battling for minor honours at best once more.
Hardy Warrior (IRE)
Won minor event in March before finishing third in Group 3 at Longchamp the following month. Produced best effort when 3½ lengths fourth of 17 to Orandi on handicap debut at Galway last time. Wears first-time tongue strap reverting to listed company and suited by the race conditions.
Moonlit Sun (IRE)
Sea The Moon filly confirmed promise of her debut when winning 19-runner 1m maiden at Naas in June. Improved when fourth of 11 on handicap debut at Galway (8.6f, soft, 7/2) last month despite being forced wide throughout. Open to further progress as she steps up in grade.
Wearing Stars (IRE)
Consistent maiden handicapper who ran as well as she ever has when chasing home Duchess Of Kenli in maiden at Gowran last time. She's likely to prove well out of her depth in this company, however.
