CRAZY PLAN has made a pleasing start to life in handicap company and a race of this nature seems well within her compass. Dijon Gone drops in grade back from a break and looks the main threat.

Timeform Comments

Crazy Plan
Lightly-raced sort who backed up her handicap debut second at Wolverhampton when fourth in 12-runner event at this course (1¼m, AW) 11 days ago. Has to be of interest again.
Lady Of Clover (IRE)
Well placed in a steadily-run affair when off the mark in classified company at Wolverhampton (8.5f) in June and has run creditably on both outings since, latterly in 1m handicap at Chepstow. Not bred for this significantly longer trip, though.
Dijon Gone
Showed a bit more than previously switched to a handicap when eighth of 14 at Newbury (1¼m) in May. Not in the same form at Windsor just over a fortnight later but this represents a marked drop in grade.
Notable Charm
Made much more of an impact when fourth of 6 on handicap bow at Chepstow in June but ran no sort of race in first-time cheekpieces at Salisbury 4 weeks ago. Blinkers now the choice of headgear.
Naranka (IRE)
NON RUNNER.
Pepper Fizz
Maiden who hasn't shaped with much encouragement in 3 runs this season, again failing to see things out back at 1m at Windsor in June. Given a break since and now steps back up markedly in trip.
Amalou
Little promise in 3 starts last year but well bred and in good hands so may do better now handicapping at a low base, up appreciably in trip.
Angel Breeze (IRE)
Well held in a pair of all-weather starts last November and again beaten a long way in a first-time tongue strap at Yarmouth on recent turf debut. Into handicaps now and a fair chunk of improvement required.
Turton
Has offered little in a handful of starts, including on first outing for current yard at Leicester last month. Improvement needed.
Cormorant Rock (IRE)
Took a backwards step tried in cheekpieces when beating only one home in 10-runner handicap (50/1) at Epsom (1¼m, firm) last week. Easy to look elsewhere.
