Timeform View

LUNAR ORBIT may add to Dan Skelton's plentiful success with stable switchers this summer. Mojito des Mottes and Max of Stars both look very credible dangers.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Mojito Des Mottes traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Charlus (IRE)
Regressive sort. Drops in class having looked none too keen in the Summer Hurdle at Market Rasen last time. Harry Skelton prefers Lunar Orbit.
Mojito Des Mottes (FR)
Winning hurdle debutant in France. Shaped well following a breathing operation when runner-up on handicap bow at Ascot in late-March. Likely to come on for his no-show in the Summer Hurdle latest. Interesting, especially as Harry Cobden rides for JP McManus here (rather than Killarney).
Max Of Stars (FR)
Enthusiastic front runner. Unable to repeat last summer's C&D success here in early-July. Has done plenty on the front end both starts on the level since. Previous 2 wins have come off this mark. Dangerous if cheekpieces have the desired effect in a race where she'll likely get the run of things.
Sayva (IRE)
Once-promising bumper/novice hurdle winner. Didn't offer much over fences following a couple of disappointing handicap hurdle runs last year. Something to prove back hurdling following 7 months off.
Arctic Voyage
Improving 4-y-o who made it 3 wins from 4 when finding plenty over C&D in early-July. He's building up a good course record and isn't discounted if taking another step forward following 7 weeks off.
Lunar Orbit (IRE)
Fairly useful on Flat. Well backed to beat a Dan Skelton newcomer at Market Rasen prior to reverting to headstrong ways next time. Sold from Warren Greatrex's yard for £15,000 since, but has joined a top stable. Interesting with tongue strap applied (has also had another breathing operation).
