Timeform View

PILU has been shaping up well this season and is capable of winning off his current mark if things drop his way. Rajaking looked better than ever when beating 20 rivals at York last month so is another to consider along with in-form course specialist Spring Bloom.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Sword traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Zoulu Chief
Scored at Wolverhampton in November but well held back on turf last 2 starts in the spring.
Photosynthesis (IRE)
Signed off for 2025 with 6f Newmarket win (Rowley Mile) off this mark. Better with each run this season before excuses at Doncaster latest.
Pilu (IRE)
Won first 2 of 3 starts last year and has improved in handicaps this season without scoring, the form of his runner-up effort at Leicester looking particularly strong. Not seen to best effect both starts since and he remains of interest.
Sword
Can be temperamental but he stepped up on his stable debut/reappearance when ¾-length third of 20 at York. Decent efforts in defeat next 2 starts but latest run here was one of his uncooperative efforts. Back down in class.
Archduke Ferdinand (IRE)
Last 3 wins have come at Redcar, including when making all last month. Has also won over C&D and was a good second back here last week, running right up to his best as he pulled clear of the rest.
Back To Me (IRE)
Won twice on all-weather 5 months apart (left Adrian Murray and gelded in between) and quickly resumed his progression when close second at Hamilton. Weak in the market when playing little part in much stronger race at York since and subsequently sold from Ben Haslam for 47,000 gns.
Rajaking
Coming good for his current yard now, not seen to best effect when third over C&D before making amends in big field at York 4 weeks ago. Can make another bold bid up 5 lb.
Sea Cookie (IRE)
Only had to step up a little on juvenile efforts to get off the mark in Newbury maiden on return and found a good chunk of improvement when following up over C&D on handicap debut. Limitations rather exposed next 2 starts, though. Tongue strap on 1st time.
Expert Agent
Twice a winner this spring, including over this trip on the Rowley Mile. Best effort since when sixth of 26 at Glorious Goodwood last month.
Juan Les Pins
Veteran who had a good spell in the spring, winning twice, but he needs to shrug off a couple of disappointing efforts.
Fifty Nifty (IRE)
Free-going sort who took advantage of a much-reduced mark on just third run for current stable over C&D 2 weeks ago. Decent third back here the following week, unable to reel in a couple of prominent racers after a slow start.
Spring Bloom
Has a great record here and went close to completing a quick-fire C&D hat-trick when ¾-length third to Fifty Nifty 2 weeks ago. 4 lb better off with the winner here so should go well again.
Royal Accord
Four wins over 6f/7f for Stuart Williams last year but no show both starts for new yard this summer.
