DIOMED DUKE returned to winning ways in good style at Lingfield last month and a 5 lb rise back up in the weights might not be enough to prevent him going in again. Tiva landed this race last year and is feared most arriving on the back of a success at Musselburgh, the only 3-y-o in the line-up Lara Antipova also a contender.

Three-time winner in 2025, including this same race. Gained a first success of the current campaign at Musselburgh 15 days ago, impressing with how she travelled through the race, and remains on a workable mark back up 3 lb. Enters calculations.
Maelstrom
Raced only at 6f so far and won his first 3 starts in handicaps last season, but ended the campaign with a poor run and subsequently left William Haggas. Some encouragement in 2 outings for present stable, meeting trouble when mid-field at this course 7 days ago.
Lara Antipova
Off the mark when making all at Lingfield (6f, all-weather) in April. Dropped back to 5f, ran well on her second handicap start when runner-up at Ascot last month and could still have more to offer with cheekpieces added.
Diomed Duke
Stepped forward from first 2 runs this season when second over C&D in July, before going one better in 7-runner contest on the turf at Lingfield. Scored readily last time and he looks capable of following up.
Fantasy Master
Made second start for current yard a winning one at Chelmsford (6f) in December and returned from 5 months off with a solid third in 16-runner event at Ascot. Well held at Sandown (5f) in June, though he still hasn't had much racing for this trainer.
Aspull
7f winner on debut for Clive Cox but has struggled since switched to handicaps, faring no better than on stable debut when well-beaten fifth of 6 at this course 7 days ago. Drops in trip.
Beauzon
Completed a remarkable 7-timer in typical fashion from the front at Wolverhampton (6f) in March. However, from his lower mark on turf he's finished down the field on his last 3 starts, including at this course (6f) 8 days ago.
