  3. Hugo's Girl (IRE)

Timeform View

A huge field with SOULFUL DIVA taken to get her head back in front after a good showing over 5f here last week. Recent C&D 1-2 Mint Man and Hugo's Girl should figure prominently again, while Poweracclaim surely has a handicap like this in him judged on his last 2 showings.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Absoluteassignment traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice and 25% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts: De Songbird traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP, 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 4 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Clonmacash
Successful twice at Dundalk this year but run of good form has come to an end the last twice. Takes a big drop in class now at least.
Mint Man
Resumed winning ways having dropped in the weights in C&D handicap a fortnight ago, forced into a change of tactics after missing the break but having plenty in hand to see off Hugo's Girl by ½ length. Apprentice offsets 6 lb rise and can go well again.
Soulful Diva (IRE)
Maiden winner who was back to form when second in 5f handicap here last week. 6f fine and a player off the same mark from high draw.
Bold Optimist (IRE)
Has returned from a break in good heart, placed in 5f handicaps at Naas and this track (behind Soulful Diva). One to consider back over 6f.
Hugo's Girl (IRE)
Still looking for a breakthrough victory but out of the frame only once so far this season, again going close when ½-length second to Mint Man over C&D a fortnight ago. One to note from high draw.
Four Blondes (IRE)
Poor strike rate and she hasn't gone on from her promising reappearance here. 4 lb drop will help her cause (has been placed off marks in the 80s).
Treasured Royal (IRE)
Navan maiden winner in September and ticking over in handicaps this season. This is a drop in class and she's tried in a tongue tie.
Pinar Del Rio
Dual C&D winner. Shaped well with cheekpieces back on when fifth at Naas in May and one to note off tempting mark back from a break.
Poweracclaim (IRE)
Yet to win but back in good form in similar handicaps, plugging on for third (winner scored again next time) at Navan 6 weeks ago. Surely has a race in him.
Chester Nimitz (IRE)
Maiden winner for Noel Meade in October. Has dropped a fair way in the weights this year and took a step back in the right direction in a first-time tongue strap at Naas (7f) 3 weeks ago. Blinkers now added and not without interest back sprinting.
Unidos
Lightly-raced maiden who ran well when fifth of 15 in handicap at Fairyhouse (7f) 45 days ago, faring best of those held up. Tongue strap back on.
Kiss Don't Tell
Signed off for 2025 with a good second in 5f Dundalk maiden having been well backed. Probably needed the run after 8 months off at Cork last week and this should reveal more.
Cladach (IRE)
Has shown a bit in 6f/7f events this summer (always behind in Gowran claimer last time). Bred to do better now handicapping.
Ocean Echo (IRE)
Ran respectably in a 6f Cork maiden last time but his level has probably been established and he needs to improve for the fitting of a tongue tie.
Beat The Devil (IRE)
Had a good spell on the all-weather at Dundalk over the winter and wasn't disgraced back sprinting behind Mint Man over C&D a fortnight ago.
Glasarmi (IRE)
Has made a fair start in maidens (gambled on when fourth at Gowran second outing) and could do better now handicapping dropped to a sprint trip.
Are You In Or Out (IRE)
Enhanced her good record fresh when making a winning stable debut at Fairyhouse on return in May. Hasn't gone on from that performance, though, and needs to bounce back.
Cashel Blue (IRE)
Improved when winning 5f handicap at Down Royal in May and has shaped up well in 2 runs since, not ideally placed away from the main action at Cork last week. Return to 6f will suit but might not have been done any favours with the draw.
Coincidental Glory (IRE)
Dundalk nursery winner in December and had been holding his form well until a lesser effort at Galway last month. This is easier back over 6f.
Absoluteassignment (IRE)
Made a pleasing start in handicaps when 1¼ lengths second at Fairyhouse (6f) in May but not in the same form in 2 runs since, never dangerous dropped to 5f here 5 weeks ago. Hood and tongue tie are reached for.
Caislean Ni Cuan (IRE)
Modest form and promise in 3 starts in maidens over 7f. Stiff task behind Mint Man on handicap debut here a fortnight ago but again didn't help her chance by pulling hard.
Battleforsupremacy (IRE)
Landed a gamble when opening his account in 7f Dundalk nursery in November and back to form when third over that C&D in first-time cheekpieces when last seen 6 months ago. Must prove effectiveness on turf now.
Irish Rumour (IRE)
On long losing run and form has been up and down this season. Several good runs here make her of some interest if she's on a going day.
Rosato (IRE)
Bounced back to form from a much-reduced mark when second of 19 in 6f Cork handicap last month but struggled up 6 lb behind Mint Man and others here since. Well drawn if first-time cheekpieces work the oracle.
Caffu Zafeen (IRE)
Maiden who didn't really fire in Britain for David Simcock last year and little impact in 3 starts for current yard, although wasn't best placed from unfavourable draw at Naas last time.
Raven's Call (IRE)
Some promise in sprint maidens last year but showed nothing switched to a handicap after 9 months off at Down Royal (40/1) 5 weeks ago.
De Songbird (IRE)
Maiden who has run to just a modest level so far. Drops to sprinting in first-time cheekpieces and needs to improve.
Fontaine Khaled (IRE)
Ran well with sights lowered when third at Down Royal (7f, strong form) in May. Not so good since and needs a revival dropped back to 6f.
Platino Bianco (IRE)
Won 5f Naas handicap in June and has remained in form, not ideally placed back there last time. This is tougher.
She's On The Ball (IRE)
Modest maiden who attracted support and showed more than previously when third at Sligo (6f) a fortnight ago, left with a lot to do. This is tougher but she could have a race in her. Goes in a first-time tongue tie.
Lady Landhort (IRE)
Winner over 6f at Dundalk in March. Well beaten in a couple of 5f turf handicaps for new yard in the last week. RESERVE.
