Timeform View

AIRDS MOSS landed the odds in a weak bumper here in May but he'd shown up well when runner-up in a stronger one on his debut and could be up to making a successful start over hurdles. Kingstonian and Reaching High are also a couple of interesting newcomers to this sphere based on their useful Flat form, while Minella Hollow had excuses on his recent comeback at Roscommon and remains with potential.

Timeform Comments

Airds Moss (IRE)
Didn't need to improve on his opening second at Cork to land the odds in 11-runner bumper at this course (17f, good to soft) in May, pushed out. Decent hurdle prospect.
Individualism
Fairly useful on Flat up to 11f for Charlie Johnston. Possibly needed the run fitted with a tongue tie when well held on his hurdling debut after 7 months off at Killarney in May but failed to beat a rival back on the level at that venue 10 weeks later.
Minella Hollow (IRE)
Dual bumper winner who stepped forward from his hurdling debut effort when third in a Limerick maiden in October. Not seen to best effect sticking to the inner when fourth on recent comeback at Roscommon and remains with potential.
Reaching High (IRE)
Useful on Flat (stays 1¾m ). Found disappointingly little in the Ascot Stakes after a whole year off in June but still of major interest now switching to hurdling.
Kingstonian
Useful Flat winner (stays 2¼m) who ran well in first-time cheekpieces when fourth of 18 in 1½m handicap at Galway (soft) on most recent outing, well positioned. Interesting hurdling debutant.
Kilbeg Jimmy (IRE)
€25,000 3-y-o, Malinas gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Little Mixup, stays 2½m, and fairly useful 17f hurdle winner Peacenik. Makes some appeal on pedigree.
Market Square (IRE)
Went backwards from an encouraging bumper debut when ninth in 16-runner event at Galway (2¼m, good to soft) 23 days ago. Switches to hurdling now.
Papanell (IRE)
Some promise both starts in bumpers and probably needed the run sent hurdling after 6 monhs off when tenth of 17 in 2m maiden at Thurles (2m, heavy) in February. Off a further 6 months, though.
Penny Express (IRE)
Fair maiden hurdler who again ran creditably when third of 14 in maiden at Wexford (17f, good, 3/1) 15 days ago. Remains vulnerable to less-exposed sorts, however.
Rockstar Rebel (IRE)
Showed nothing in a maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe (2m, good, 500/1) on debut 12 days ago.
Well Bud (IRE)
Failed to complete on either start in points but shaped with some encouragement on her bumper debut at Killarney in May. Failed to repeat that effort in a similar event there 9 weeks later, though.
Local Resident (IRE)
Shirocco gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful chaser Brandt and fair hurdler/chaser Kilbrew Boy, stayed 3m. Dam unraced out of useful 2m hurdle winner Titled Dancer. Runner-up sole start in points (Mar 2026) and worth a look in the betting ahead of Rules debut.
Sea Limit (IRE)
Getaway mare who has some fairly useful winners in her pedigree but was well held on her recent hurdling debut at Ballinrobe.
The Orphan Girl (IRE)
Took a few goes to win in points and has shaped with no encouragement in a brace of maiden hurdles.
Windy Grey (IRE)
No promise in a trio of maiden hurdles.
Misty Valentine (IRE)
Has shown nothing in a pair of maiden hurdles.
Eben Zaabeel
A fairly useful middle-distance performer on the Flat who looks one for handicaps later on in this sphere judged on his opening effort at Fairyhouse in April. RESERVE.
Colliers Quay (IRE)
Placed only once from 5 starts in points and shaped like a stayer when fifth of 16 in bumper (40/1) at Galway (2¼m, good to soft) on Rules debut 23 days ago. Makes a quick switch to hurdling but will be of more interest when tackling longer trips. RESERVE.
Man Down (IRE)
€3,000 3-y-o, Soldier of Fortune gelding. Half-brother to Italian 1m winner Giocasta Mac. Dam, maiden on Flat (stayed 10.5f), half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 21f) Rock Relief. Made frame completed start in points, pulled up last time (May 17). RESERVE.
