Timeform View

TEOFIL showed a good attitude to make his second bumper outing a winning one at Galway last month, despite his rider reporting the saddle slipped, and looks the one to beat under a penalty. Emergency Man bumped into one that's gone in again since on his debut here 5 weeks ago and can provide the main threat, ahead of Rokanako, who's already been beaten under a penalty.

Timeform Comments

Farney Bridge (IRE)
Left debut effort well behind when winning 15-runner course bumper (17f) 37 days ago, driven clear. That form is proving mixed and more required under a penalty.
Rokanako (IRE)
Left debut form for Patrick Gerard Ryan 11 months earlier well behind when winning 10-runner bumper at Kilbeggan (2m, good to soft) in May. Found life tougher under a penalty at Bellewstown and has since left James Kieran King.
Teofil (IRE)
Confirmed debut promise when game winner of 13-runner bumper (7/2) at Galway (17f, good to soft) 26 days ago, despite his rider reporting the saddle slipped. Rates a useful prospect and fancied to defy a penalty.
Loughtown (IRE)
Showed a bit more than on Rules debut 7 months on when seventh of 11 in bumper at Wexford (17f, good to firm) 50 days ago, though became readily outpaced when the pace lifted.
Mystic Bridge (IRE)
Sageburg gelding. Dam (h84) maiden hurdler. Looks best watched making a belated debut.
Old Court (IRE)
€7,500 3-y-o, Court Cave gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful chaser Arrycan. Dam (c110/h115) 2½m/2¾m hurdle winner. Pulled up sole start in points (Dec 2025).
Emergency Man (IRE)
Shirocco gelding who showed plenty to work on behind a subsequent winner in a modestly-run race at this course (17f) on debut last month, running on to pull clear of remainder. Longer trips bound to suit in time but still a contender.
Ringroan (IRE)
Way To Paris gelding. Closely related to fairly useful hurdler/smart chaser Downmexicoway, and half-brother to 3 winners, including fairly useful hurdler Straight Home. Makes some appeal on paper but yard has an uninspiring record in bumpers.
Lady Boudica (IRE)
Showed nothing in a Thurles maiden hurdle on sole outing for Edward F. Power in March.
