Timeform View

Dan Skelton's new recruit AT THE OCHE looked well ahead of his mark when going in at the first time of asking over fences at Uttoxeter and can make light of a 9 lb rise in the weights. Chasing newcomer Little Ledgend comes here in excellent form over hurdles and appeals as the one to chase him home ahead of the consistent Pep Talking.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

At The Oche traded at a high of 3.00 and Betfair SP of 2.32 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Coastguard Station (IRE)
In good form of late until coming in last of 6 in handicap chase at Uttoxeter (2m, good) in June. The sort to bounce back after a break.
Homme Public (FR)
Useful hurdler/chaser at his best. Hinted at a revival when third in Bangor handicap chase in May but beat only one in handicap hurdle at Cartmel (2¾m, good) since. Blinkers go back on with something to prove.
Pep Talking
Reliable sort who resumed winning ways in 5-runner handicap chase at Uttoxeter (2½m, good) last month, sticking to his task well. Not taken lightly despite 3 lb weight rise.
At The Oche (IRE)
Fair bumper/hurdle winner for Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies. Made highly promising start over fences for new yard (on back of a breathing operation) when winning handicap at Uttoxeter (2½m, good) last month, always travelling powerfully. Hiked up 9 lb but should take plenty of beating.
Court In A Storm (IRE)
Bumper/dual hurdle winner. Runner-up on chasing debut here in May but has twice failed to build on it, only fifth of 9 in handicap chase back here (23f, good) last time.
Imperial Bede (FR)
Scored at Catterick (19f) in February but has failed to convince with his finishing effort on his last 2 runs in 2½m handicap chases at Warwick and Uttoxeter. More is required after a break.
Mix Of Clover
Unreliable veteran who sprang a surprise in 6-runner handicap chase over C&D (good to firm) in July. Needs to back it up now from a 6 lb higher mark.
Little Ledgend (IRE)
Maiden hurdler but arrives in good form, cheekpieces added to tongue tie when a very good second of 13 in 2½m handicap here last month. Very much one to consider starting out over fences.
Doyouknowwhatimean
Unreliable sort though he wasn't disgraced with fourth of 5 in handicap chase here (23f, good to firm) last month, fading late on. This course winner is not out of things now back in trip.
Hudson (FR)
Fair maiden hurdler for Ellmarie Holden in Ireland. Has failed to build on a promising hurdling debut fourth for new connections, though, cheekpieces tried when fourth of 10 to At The Oche in handicap chase at Uttoxeter (2½m, good) last time.
