DANDY LAND arrives on an upward curve after winning over C&D earlier in the month and, with the prospect of further progress, is taken to defy a 7 lb rise. Tawaazon boasts a good record at this course and shaped as if on the way back last time, so is likely to prove the main threat if building on that, while Steel Magnolia, who bounced back when second here last time, and recent Cork second Simmering Seas should also be firmly in the mix.

Produced her best effort this season when third at Bellewstown in April but has largely struggled otherwise, and while this represents a drop in class, she has beaten only 2 of a possible 36 rivals on her last 3 starts and is difficult to fancy unless the market strongly hints at a sudden revival.
Dandy Land (IRE)
Has taken off since tackling 5f, showing further progress when winning a C&D handicap 20 days ago by 1¼ lengths from Steel Magnolia, travelling well before finishing off her race to excellent effect. She is up 7 lb but remains unexposed as an out-and-out speedster and looks sure to go well again.
Menwirr (IRE)
Showed only modest form at best in his qualifying runs and failed to improve in cheekpieces on handicap/turf debut when seventh of 13 at Redcar in May. Off since ahead of his first start since leaving Archie Watson, and the drop to 5f is not an obvious benefit on pedigree.
Nebrook Star (IRE)
Maiden that hasn't kicked on in handicaps this year, including on both outings for current yard.
Tawaazon (IRE)
Good record at this track, winning over 6f here last year and posting this season’s best when runner-up over C&D in June. Raced away from the principals when fourth here latest and now runs from his lowest mark in nearly 4 years. Must be considered.

On a lengthy losing run but shaped as if better for the run on return from 8-month break at Leopardstown 17 days ago and remains well treated on the pick of his form. Tackles 5f for the first time since 2023.

Multiple polytrack winner who justified support when gaining a belated first turf success at Fairyhouse in June. Has been well below that form since, though.
Pansy Poe (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who made very little impact in 5 outings last year and is difficult to fancy on this return from 11 months off. Headgear discarded and tongue tie back on making debut for new yard.
Simmering Seas (IRE)
Well backed and made promising start for new yard when 2¼ lengths second of 12 to Amerilis in 5f handicap at Cork 9 days ago on the back of a 4-month break. Races off same mark here and any sort of step forward from that effort is likely to put her firmly in the mix.
Smart Sioux (IRE)
Has shown little in varied events.
Hasiyna (IRE)
Multiple Dundalk winner who posted a solid effort when second of 14 back from a short break in February but has struggled for form since. Returns from another 156-day absence and has something to prove back on turf.
Whatswrongnow (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who has been placed on 5 occasions but arrives on the back of a particularly poor effort, so others are preferred.
Prada's World (IRE)
Posted her best effort when third of 16 in a Galway nursery last year for Christopher Timmons. Looked rusty on debut for this yard after 6 months off in April and has a bit to prove now returning from another 4-month absence.
Amanirenas (IRE)
Won at Laytown in 2025 but hasn't been seen since running poorly at Dundalk in September. Returns with cheekpieces on for a first try at 5f.
Step Back In Time (IRE)
Successful 3 times at Navan in 2025 and stopped the slide this year when 1¼ lengths third of 15 to Dandy Land over C&D 20 days ago. A fully-fledged rider, who has won twice on her in the past, replaces an apprentice and she is capable of being involved if building on that latest effort.
Steel Magnolia (IRE)
Won a 5f Bellewstown handicap in 2025 and has been in the frame on 4 of her 5 starts this year, headed only late when 1¼ lengths second of 15 to Dandy Land over C&D latest. Should be thereabouts.
Little Roy (IRE)
Well held all 3 starts in sprint maidens on turf. Makes handicap debut for new yard.
Niobite (IRE)
Well held in maidens but low-grade handicaps could be more his thing.
Lismacbryan (IRE)
Did win a handicap in 2024 but very little to shout about since.
