Timeform View

Not many can be seriously fancied and COOLISHAEL rather leaps off the page after his second to the very promising Lizzie Twigg at Punchestown on his latest start in June. Minella Post is the obvious danger if bouncing back to form, while Noharmintrying makes some appeal on paper.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Minella Post traded at a low of 21.00 and Betfair SP of 17.50 when pulled up last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field: Coolishael traded at a low of 1.31 and Betfair SP of 5.10 when losing last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Colliers Quay (IRE)
Placed only once from 5 starts in points and shaped like a stayer when fifth of 16 in bumper (40/1) at Galway (2¼m, good to soft) on Rules debut last month. Makes a quick switch to hurdling but will be of more interest when tackling longer trips.
Coolishael (IRE)
Point recruit who has made a good start under Rules in bumper/2m maiden hurdle at Punchestown, shaping well behind very promising mare (won Galway listed race latest) 11 weeks ago. More to come and this extra distance will suit.
Discrete (IRE)
Maiden pointer who has finished well held in bumper and 2 maiden hurdles.
Lastofthenatives (IRE)
Unpromising in points and no impact in 3 maiden hurdles. Hood tried this time.
Minella Post
Ran to a fair level in maiden hurdles in 2024/25 and having missed the following season was in the process of stepping up on his reappearance when falling heavily 2 out at Cork. Shaped as if amiss in first-time cheekpieces in Galway handicap since but this is a good race for him to bounce back in.
Noharmintrying (IRE)
Getaway half-brother to useful hurdler/chase winner Theclockisticking and 2¼m bumper winner/fair 2½m hurdle winner Delta Run, from the family of Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Synchronised. Yard in form and he's appealing on paper in a winnable maiden.
Nothintodowithme (IRE)
Big prices, tongue tied and well held in 2 maiden hurdles (badly hampered fourth at Tramore latest).
Sankofa (IRE)
Third sole start in points in April. Didn't offer much on Rules debut at Cork 3 weeks ago.
Tommy Go Maith (IRE)
No promise so far.
Vargas (IRE)
Half-brother to 5 winners, including useful hurdler/chaser The Four Sixes and fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Innovated. Pulled up when prominent in the betting for 2 points last year and fared little better in Downpatrick bumper a fortnight ago. Bit to prove now hurdling.
Green Grass (IRE)
Well beaten in 2 maiden hurdles.
Myhero La Colmine (FR)
Choeur du Nord gelding. Dam, 2½m chase winner in France, half-sister to French hurdler/chaser (stayed 2¾m) Hold Up La Colmine.
Elusive Truce (IRE)
Elusive Pimpernel mare. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser (stays 4m) Our Power and fairly useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 27f) The Lovely Man. Not an obvious winner of a maiden hurdle first time up on paper.
Leva Deva (IRE)
Has shown precious little to date, always behind in 2m novice hurdle here a fortnight ago.
Roll It Roisin (IRE)
Unplaced completed start in points and little encouragement in Killarney maiden hurdle fitted with a tongue tie.
Lexenna (IRE)
Well held in mares bumpers and 2m maiden hurdle here. RESERVE.
Beyond Forgiveness (IRE)
Pulled up sole start in points. Showed a bit in Cork maiden hurdle 3 weeks ago but not enough to make him of interest in this. RESERVE.
Don't Tell Paddy
€1,000 3-y-o, Telescope gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/very smart chaser (stayed 23f) Nuts Well. RESERVE.
