MOLLY MAC confirmed she's a filly on the upgrade at Newmarket and can complete the hat-trick back down in class. Cape Toronada is also progressive so looks the main threat, though the well-bred Star Obsession needs keeping an eye on back from a break on handicap bow.

Timeform Comments

Molly Mac (IRE)
Finally off the mark at Nottingham last month and fully confirmed that improvement when following up at Newmarket 10 days ago, produced to lead final 1f. Should make a bold bid for the hat-trick back down in class.
Star Obsession
Well-bred filly who didn't show much in 3 starts on the all-weather this winter, again pulling too hard last time. However, drop in trip likely to suit and top yard has excellent record with handicap debutants. Fitting of a tongue tie could help her settle and she's one to consider.
Venetian Romance (IRE)
Still a maiden but produced her best effort to date when runner-up at Brighton 8 weeks ago, shaping as if worth a try at this shorter distance (raced freely). Has since changed yards again (sold from Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole for £8,000) but she's considered.
Cape Toronada (FR)
Improving filly who has won 2 of her last 3 starts (both at Brighton). Met trouble over C&D in between and no reason why she won't be competitive again.
Koffee And Kale
Off the mark in 5f novice at Leicester on final 2-y-o outing and placed in handicaps first 2 starts this season. Mixed record since, however, only briefly looking like getting involved over C&D 11 days ago.
Beach Partee
Won 3 times as a juvenile. Yet to score as a 3-y-o but was an unlucky ¾-length second to Cape Toronada at Brighton earlier this month, denied clear run. 3 lb better off with the winner here but he needs to shrug off a below-par run over C&D 11 days ago.
Hellcat
Hasn't kicked on from promising second start for current yard on the all-weather in May, making a complete mess of the start at Wolverhampton last time.
Angel Summer (IRE)
Maiden but she offered some encouragement starting out for this yard when sixth here (5f) last month (late headway after meeting trouble). Might have found next run coming too soon so not dismissed with return to 6f in her favour and tongue tie tried.
Magic Lady Mae (IRE)
Maiden who has shown little since leaving Richard Hannon. Headgear now applied.
