Forest Berry
Free-going sort. Fourth in a Doncaster maiden that has worked out well. Value for more than the 1-length winning margin when off the mark in a first-time hood at Wolverhampton (7f) last week. Likely to stay this extra furlong and leading claims to follow up under a 6 lb penalty.
Rule Of The Agency
Standout effort when 7 lengths third at York (7f) second time up. That form is looking increasingly flimsy besides the winner, and he'll need to improve in first-time cheekpieces on nursery bow.
Bluestone Lady (IRE)
Confirmed previous promise when off the mark in strongly-run nursery here (7f) last month. Things didn't pan out as well when beaten 3½ lengths under a penalty in a course selling handicap 7 days later. Could do better stepped up to 1m, for all the pace setup again looks less than ideal.
The Resdev Rocket (IRE)
Again never competitive in a useful Newmarket novice (6f, 150/1) on qualifying run. In more realistic company here, and the switch to a nursery/longer trip offers some hope for improvement.
Bonjour Belle
Gone the wrong way since a fairly promising start in a valuable Chester seller. Handicapper has at least offered some reprieve ahead of this first try over 1m.
Le Grand Etoile (IRE)
Showed nothing in a trio of sprint events. Gelded/attracted good support from double-figure odds prior to again finishing well beaten on nursery bow at Leicester (7f). Now tried over an extra furlong (does have plenty of stamina in his pedigree).
Astral Calling (IRE)
Half-sister to useful 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Cowardofthecounty. Has offered little in 3 runs around 7f to date. Excellent yard 3-8 with nursery debutants this season, and she could well show more over a slightly longer trip here.
