Timeform View

Although LAND OF THE GIANTS needs things to go his way he's back on a good mark and Ado McGuinness is among the winners so this could be the time to catch him. Duchess Anne returned with 2 good efforts last month and is second choice ahead of Billy Lee's mount Medieval Night. The presence of Dylan Browne McMonagle in the saddle on Think About It makes her one to keep a close eye on in the betting.

Timeform Comments

Albion Power (IRE)
No impact in 1m handicaps at the Curragh the last twice and seems better on all-weather.
Givehertilxmas (IRE)
Made an encouraging return from a break when third of 15 in handicap at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft, 11/1) 56 days ago, running on. Cheekpieces on first time. The draw could have been kinder but still a player with Colin Keane back in the saddle.
Dinamine (IRE)
Won this race last year. Got his head back in front at Naas (1m) in July. Latest Curragh effort disappointing but dangerous to dismiss back here.
Medieval Night (IRE)
Still a maiden but recent handicap efforts creditable, notably latest second of 15 at Gowran (9.5f, good to firm) under Billy Lee, who is on board again today. Considered.
Perfect Judgement (IRE)
Seventeen runs since last win in 2025. 11/1, best effort of the season when second of 16 in handicap at Gowran (9.5f, good to firm) 13 days ago. Claims if in similar form with cheekpieces refitted.
Land Of The Giants (IRE)
His sole win from 25 starts came in 9f Ayr handicap in May. 13/2, 13/2, fourth of 15 in claimer at Gowran (1m, good to firm) 13 days ago, nearest finish. Needs things to drop right but he's well handicapped and his stable is going well.
Think About It (IRE)
Hard to get carried away by her efforts since joining this yard but her mark has come down as a result and the booking of Dylan Browne McMonagle takes the eye. One to note in the betting.
Bright Dick (IRE)
Sole win came a Dundalk in April 2024. Creditable third of 21 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f, good) in July off that year but not seen since. The betting is perhaps the best guide after such a long time off.
Micasso (IRE)
Posted a career-best when getting off the mark on C&D reappearance at the beginning of July. Two lesser runs have followed so his hopes are pinned on a return to Bellewstown sparking a revival.
Oitentinha (IRE)
Ninth in all 3 handicaps and 1m looked to stretch her at Limerick last time. Others are much more obvious.
Chant D'or (IRE)
Well held in 3 qualifying runs for other trainers. Best watched on handicap debut unless the betting suggests otherwise.
Sunday Sovereign
Further signs of decline last year and no promise on reappearance in June. Easy enough to look elsewhere.
Duchess Anne (IRE)
Low-mileage 5-y-o maiden who turned in her best effort in handicaps to date when 2¼ lengths second of 13 to Hexagonal at Gowran (9.5f, good to firm) 31 days ago. 3 lb higher here but capable of being in the mix if building on that.
Master Garvey (IRE)
Two wins from 56 starts. Twenty three runs since last win in 2025. 12/1, bit below form when seventh of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (1m) 10 days ago. Others are preferred.
Monzoon
Nineteen runs since last win in 2023 and looked to retain little ability for this yard last year. Can only watch back from 8 months off.
