Bumper/hurdle winner who ran his best race on the Flat when second at Leopardstown last month despite not being ideally placed. Comes into the reckoning.
Kimy (FR)
Hurdles winner but she arrives on a lengthy losing run and was below par in maidens last 2 starts.
Jerandme (IRE)
In the twilight of his career so hard to see him ending his losing run in this competitive event.
Sequoiaspirit (IRE)
Ran well back in this sphere when third at Killarney and has been in good form over hurdles subsequently (stiff task last time).
Catalani (IRE)
Point/hunter chase winner who showed much-improved form when neck third to Boxing Great at Leopardstown on handicap bow 3 weeks ago, nearest at the finish having met some trouble on the inner. Big shout off 1 lb lower.
Day Trader (FR)
Winner on the Flat in France. Hadn't offered much in this sphere for current yard until a close second of 17 at Galway last month and claims if building on that stepping up in trip.
Cooley's Mist (IRE)
Opened his account under a change of tactics when making all at Leopardstown last month. Backed that up at the second attempt when good second there last Thursday and can go well again if seeing out this longer distance.
Miss Gitana (IRE)
Best efforts for current yard when placed at Leopardstown and Tramore last 2 starts, though she had the run of things on both occasions.
Liberated Light (IRE)
Runner-up in Amateurs' Derby at Epsom in summer of 2023. Won twice over hurdles since before creditable efforts back in this sphere the last twice (not seen to best effect last time). Not one to write off.
