CRUSHERMAN offered encouragement on debut when fifth at this course in April and can step forward from that first outing to get off the mark. Perfect Strike is also open to improvement with a run behind him and could be the main danger, while of the newcomers, Solar Swing appeals as a likely contender.

Timeform Comments

Chevere
Foaled January 19. Havana Grey colt. Half-brother to 6f winner Fox Master. Dam, 5f winner (including at 2 yrs), sister to July Stakes winner Anjaal. Yard capable of readying a newcomer.
Crusherman (IRE)
Showed ability amidst greenness when fifth of 9 in newcomers maiden at this course (5f) in April. Has been given time since and could be ready to open his account with that experience behind him.
Flick Of An Eye (IRE)
Foaled May 12. €25,000 foal, £150,000 2-y-o, Blackbeard colt. Half-brother to winner up to 13f Hashtagmetoo. Dam, US 1m winner, half-sister to Canadian Grade 2 9f winner J'Ray. Stable enjoying an excellent campaign with its 2-y-o newcomers.
Kicking Bear (FR)
Foaled February 23. €38,000 yearling, €130,000 2-y-o, Sioux Nation colt. Dam, useful French 9.5f/1¼m winner, half-sister to useful winner up to 9f Ana Americana. May just be better for this first experience.
Moofeed (IRE)
Foaled March 3. 90,000 gns foal, 150,000 gns yearling, Blue Point colt. Closely related to 8.3f winner Stella Lucente. Dam, Italian 2-y-o 5f-7f winner, half-sister to smart Italian sprinter Dagda Mor.
Perfect Strike (FR)
€280,000 breeze-up purchase who was well supported on debut but held back by inexperience when seventh of 9 in maiden at Ascot (6f) last month. Yard has a strong record with 2-y-os making their second start, so he could leave that effort well behind.
Solar Swing (IRE)
Foaled January 18. €115,000 foal, 120,000 gns yearling, 235,000 gns 2-y-o, Starman colt. Half-brother to several winners, including useful 5.5f winner Mighty Eriu and 7f winner Inner Temple. Dam, maiden, closely related to smart 2-y-o 5f/5.5f winner Signora Cabello. Commands respect.
Sol Dorado
Foaled March 22. 8,000 gns yearling, Ardad gelding. Half-brother to 1¼m winner Dunes King. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner, sister to high-class winner up to 1m Galileo Gold. Yard's debutants tend to be better for their first outing.
Yabreen
Foaled May 7. 15,000 gns foal, Mohaather colt. Dam, maiden (stayed 1¼m), half-sister to smart winner up to 1¾m Dramatic Queen out of useful winner up to 2m (2-y-o 1m winner) Midnight Music.
Velma Dinkley
Has made little impact in 2 starts so far, ninth of 11 in novice at Bath (5.7f) 8 weeks ago. Needs another run for a handicap mark.
