BOILERMAKER looked to have something left in the tank when going in for the first time at Sandown and can defy a 3 lb weights rise here. Both V Power (second choice) and The Craftymaster have excellent records round here and seem sure to have a big say too though.

All-weather winner (2m) for Tom Ward last summer. Underwhelming over hurdles since for current yard but comes here on the back of a solid fifth of 9 in handicap over C&D 8 days ago when not ideally placed. Not totally dismissed.
The Craftymaster
A 4-time course scorer who made it 3 wins from his last 4 runs in 6-runner handicap at Newmarket (2m, good to firm) 12 days ago. Off 11lb higher mark here but a likely player once more.
Letmebetheboss (IRE)
A 3-time winner (at up to 2m) in 2025 for William Muir & Chris Grassick. Made a positive start for new yard with fourth of 11 in handicap at Kempton (1½m) in December but off since. Has his fitness to prove on belated reappearance.
Fair Dinkum (IRE)
A dual 14f scorer last autumn. In good nick without winning this season until a below-par third of 4 in handicap at Salisbury (1¾m, good) 36 days ago. Bounce back is needed.
One Cool Dreamer (IRE)
Twelve runs since his last win in 2024. Yet to fire for his new yard, just sixth of 8 in handicap at Newbury (1¼m, good to firm) 34 days ago. Needs to take a step forward.
V Power
A 3-time C&D winner in 2026. Posted another good effort with second of 7 in all-weather handicap at Lingfield (13f) 18 days ago. Can go well again off an unchanged mark.
