Timeform View

ATLANTIC BRIDGE showed plenty in a couple of maidens at the Curragh and sets a high standard. Better Yet made a promising start when splitting the more experienced Southern Boulevard and Always Magic in a maiden at Cork so Jessica Harrington's filly rates the main threat.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Atlantic Bridge traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 2 starts.

Timeform Comments

Abletai (IRE)
Dead-heated for second with subsequent Group 1 winner Sun Goddess at Naas (5f) second time up, but that remains a standout effort and he was behind Atlantic Bridge when only sixth back in a maiden at the Curragh last time. Has since been gelded.
Always Magic
Left debut well behind (had been gelded) when fourth (behind Southern Boulevard) of 16 in maiden at Cork 2 weeks ago. Hood now applied.
Atlantic Bridge (IRE)
€300,000 2-y-o who showed plenty to work on when fourth in maidens at the Curragh in recent weeks. Open to further improvement and he looks the one to beat.
Better Yet (IRE)
Lucky Vega filly. Half-sister to 7.4f winner Offbeat. Dam, 2-y-o 5f winner, closely related to 2-y-o 7f winner Barina. Showed plenty to work on when never-nearer third (split Southern Boulevard and Always Magic) of 16 in Cork maiden on debut 2 weeks ago. Needs considering.
Jungle Tina (IRE)
Foaled May 9. Bungle Inthejungle filly. Sister to useful Italian 5f-7f winner Il Sindacalista and half-sister to 3 winners, including Belgian 2-y-o 7.5f winner Battle of Wits. Dam ran a few times on Flat/over hurdles. Likely to need this given her yard.
Rathbran Lady (IRE)
Little encouragement both starts.
Rollin'onariver (IRE)
Foaled April 9. €110,000 yearling, €80,000 2-y-o, Blue Point filly. Closely related to US 7f/1m winner Mary's Lad. Dam, French 13f winner, sister to smart 1m-11f winner Crisolles. Likely to need this given her yard.
Southern Boulevard (IRE)
Speedy sort who didn't help her cause when second of 16 in Cork maiden 2 weeks ago, drifting all the way across to the stand rail.
Syrah (IRE)
Invincible Army filly. Dam lightly raced out of unraced half-sister to smart 1m-1¼m winner Sufranel. Showed little in Cork maiden.
