Timeform View

MISS CRINSHAWN looks interesting returned to a basement-grade handicap and is taken to get off the mark stepping back up in trip. Arcland made a good start for this yard last year and is entitled to be thereabouts, while Stepdance is another to consider from a falling mark.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Phidias Ovation traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice, 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 4 of its last 5 starts: Mystic Rose traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Makaiah (IRE)
Course winner. Ended last season out of form but returned with a runner-up effort at Roscommon in May. Beaten just 3 lengths when seventh of 9 in handicap at Leopardstown (15f, good to firm) 21 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.
Miss Crinshawn (IRE)
Still to get her head in front but in frame first 5 starts this season and went close in extended 1¼m Cork handicap in May. Bit below that form on last 2 outings, but by no means disgraced and this represents a drop in class. Has to be taken seriously back up markedly in trip.
Miss Australie (IRE)
Successful at Roscommon in May. Ran her best race since, though without seriously threatening, when sixth of 9 in handicap (15/2) at Tramore (1½m, good to soft) 12 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.
Stepdance (IRE)
Won all 3 starts in this sphere last year. Ran best race on the Flat this season when making the frame at Tramore 12 days ago. Continues to edge down the weights.
Cala Gracioneta (IRE)
Fair maiden. Creditable fifth of 12 in handicap at Tramore (2m, good, 6/1) in July, doing best work late on. Each-way claims back down in trip.
Kevin The Great (IRE)
Best effort this season when fourth at Navan in June on first start for this yard. Below form both starts since and needs to bounce back returned to this longer trip.
Ms Messi (IRE)
Lost her way at the end of 2025 but returned with an encouraging third at Gowran earlier this month after 9 months off. Merits consideration.
Desert Friend (IRE)
Snapped a losing run at Dundalk in March and went in again at Sligo (1¾m, good to soft) in May. Exploits have proved mixed subsequently, below his best when fourth at Ballinrobe in July prior to finishing well held over hurdles at Galway a week later. Others more persuasive.
Eastern Wind
Largely respectable efforts in this sphere this season, second in handicap at Sligo (13.3f, good to soft) 22 days ago. Well held over hurdles at Bellewstown on Wednesday, however.
Jazz Forever (IRE)
Third behind a subsequent winner at Navan in early-June but has finished well held both starts since, latest with cheekpieces refitted. Steps back up in trip with the headgear discarded and needs a return to form.
Anightaway (IRE)
Attracted some support upped in trip and showed first form when winning at Sligo 3 weeks ago after 4 months off, seemingly responding well to the greater test and first-time tongue strap. Up 6 lb for that success.
Arcland (IRE)
Had some strong form last year on Flat and improved over hurdles since, winning at Killarney in July before a mid-field finish at Galway 26 days ago. Shortlist material.
Eastern Blue Bird (IRE)
Yet to make much impact in varied events. Hard to see that changing here.
Macinamillion (IRE)
Fairly useful chase winner for Gavin Cromwell last summer. Faced inadequate test on first run for new yard when tailed-off last in claimer at Gowran 15 days ago. Should do better over this longer trip with that run under his belt.
Deluca Chop (FR)
Secured back-to-back successes round here and at Down Royal in June. Seemed undone by a further rise in the weights when 4¼ lengths fifth of 14 to Anightaway in handicap at Sligo (13.3f, good to soft, 13/2) 22 days ago.
Maxwell Smart (IRE)
Has only the one win from 28 Flat runs but was a good 1½ lengths third of 14 to Anightaway in handicap (18/1) at Sligo (13.3f, good to soft) 22 days ago having been left with a lot to do.The cheekpieces go back on and he looks competitive on form.
Without Love
Winner at Dundalk in January and was runner-up in back-to-back handicaps at Bellewstown and Limerick last month. Failed to justify support when only sixth of 14 at Sligo earlier this month. Visor back on.
Mystic Rose (IRE)
Modest maiden. Third at Dundalk in July but ran poorly back on turf at Sligo last time. Headgear and tongue strap discarded. Each-way claims at best.
Piatra Neamt (IRE)
Yet to score after 10 attempts and makes limited appeal.
Folk Warrior (IRE)
Good fifth on seasonal reappearance but hasn't really kicked on since, including over hurdles last 2 outings. Not easy to make a case for.
Highway Sixty One (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who's made the frame twice this season. Was too free when well held at Tramore 12 days ago. Can bounce back with the headgear and tongue strap discarded.
Miners Cabin (IRE)
Has made little impact to date and needs improvement with first-time cheekpieces added.
Share The Treasure (IRE)
Sole success came in this last year and has dropped in the weights but her overall record is far from the most reliable. Returns after a nearly 4-month absence.
Phidias Ovation (IRE)
Looks limited on what we've seen so far and makes little appeal. RESERVE.
Lariat
Ran well when second at Tramore last month but has shown little both starts since, including over hurdles. RESERVE.
Plus Or Minus (IRE)
No impact on the Flat and fared no better tried over hurdles last month. First-time blinkers applied. RESERVE.
