GOOD EARTH likes it here and may land the spoils back down in grade. Hint of Humour and Maharajas Express could fill the places if a strong pace materialises.

Timeform Comments

South Shore
Made it 2-2 for current yard with a decisive success at Wolverhampton last month. Has remained in fine heart with a hat-trick of seconds since, latterly in a weaker race for the grade at Brighton. Should be thereabouts from a handy draw.
Good Earth (IRE)
C&D winner who notched a third victory this year in 6f Haydock handicap in April. Drops back into a 0-70 for the first time since that win (had things go wrong from an early stage at Beverley last time). Leading claims in a race that should be run to suit.
Duskaura (IRE)
Bagged an uncontested lead on the rail when cashing in on a falling mark at Lingfield (6f) last month. Slow start didn't help her cause when below form at Brighton subsequently (6f) and will find it tough to dominate back over the minimum trip from stall 8.
Hint Of Humour
Three-time winner on all-weather during 2025. Best run for a while on turf when 1¾ lengths third of 5 at Ffos Las in late-June. Looks to be the stable's leading hope returning from 9-week break with Rossa Ryan booked.
Maharajas Express
Strong-travelling sort who found the gaps coming just in time when scoring with a bit up his sleeve at Chester in late-July. Should find this unfolding more favourably than on the all-weather last time. Worth a second look with Billy Loughnane taking over.
Level Up (IRE)
Gained reward for his consistency when off the mark for the season at Chepstow (5f) on penultimate start. Beaten by a poor track position more than a 4-lb rise when bidding to follow up over the same C&D latest. May do better if Oisin Murphy can work some magic from the widest stall.
Cameley Days
Gained a first win of 2026 at Windsor in May prior to hitting the frame twice in this grade. Has been given a chance by handicapper following a couple of lesser efforts in slightly better company. Could be worth another chance sporting more severe headgear this time.
Jenny Jerome
Low-mileage 3-y-o who showed improved form when runner-up on handicap debut/reappearance at Bath last April. However, she's been off since finishing down the field (not ideally placed the way the race unfolded) at Haydock later that month.
So Smart (IRE)
Rewarded for his consistency when off the mark for the year at Chepstow in July. Below form in a race that set up for the closers at Windsor latest. Did run well to finish close third behind Good Earth here just over 12 months ago (soft), though, and is well drawn to bounce back.
