Timeform View

Top-weight BELLA BISBEE ran well when third at Doncaster last time and makes plenty of appeal having rather leniently been eased another 1 lb. The Stone Power has been progressive on the whole this season and is also considered alongside the consistent Dappled Light.

Timeform Comments

Bella Bisbee
Back to her best when causing a 20/1 upset at Doncaster (7f) in June and returned to form with the run of things from the front when third at that same C&D 2 weeks ago. Player.
Lerwick
Won 9-runner handicap at C&D in first-time eyeshields, capitalising on drop into this grade and the return to 7f to end losing run. Still remains well treated on old form from a 7 lb higher mark, though consistency hasn't ever particularly been his strong suit.
The Stone Power
Going the right way prior to pulling up (presumably amiss) at Wolverhampton last month. Quickly over whatever ailed him there, resuming his progress to win a 5-runner handicap (10/3) at this course (1m, good to firm) 16 days ago. 6 lb higher now.
Santiago Boy
Took a step forward sent handicapping in first-time blinkers with second of 14 at Kempton (1m) earlier this month and backed up that improvement when filling the same position over 7f there last week. Below form only prior outing on turf but merits respect on the back of those efforts.
Mountain Of Light
Night of Thunder filly took a step forward on her qualifying run when second of 8 in maiden (16/1) at this course (1m, good) 24 days ago. Opening mark looks stiff on that bare form but she appeals as one who'll do better now handicapping.
Dappled Light
Notched a pair of 1m handicaps at Bath in the spring and has remained in good form since, again finding just one that had the benefit of the rail too good when second of 6 in handicap at Chepstow (1m, good to firm, 5/1) 43 days ago.
Gelato (IRE)
Ex-Irish maiden who was much improved on second run for new yard with ready breakthrough win in 7-runner handicap at C&D in June. Disappointing under less testing conditions over 1m here last time, though, not the first time looking wayward under pressure.
Cypriot Diaspora
C&D regular won twice last year and finished in the frame in handicaps here on her last 3 outings, albeit not quite at the top of her game when fourth of 7 here last week.
Nebbia
Has run well switched to handicaps on her first 2 starts this season, beaten only by a handicap debutant in 6-runner contest at Leicester (5f) in June. Not in the same form when eighth of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6f, 28/1) 42 days ago. Back up in trip.
Grimese's Special (IRE)
66/1 winner of a seller over 7f here at Salisbury on her second start last year. However, she has shown nothing in handicaps since.
