This can be fought out by the pair of 3-y-os, with ALICE'S INFLUENCE shading preference over Castlekeely. Dinah Myte and Pebble Dash are others to keep an eye on.

Timeform Comments

Belltony
Massaat gelding who offered little in a trio of novice events and no upturn dropped into classified company over 7f here in June. Others make much more appeal.
Dinah Myte
Doubled her tally in 1m handicap at Newcastle in June. Has continued in good form since, though she was not beaten far when sixth of 11 in classified company at Lingfield (1½m) 17 days ago. Return to the shorter trip will hold no fears and she's in with a shout.
Eye Of The Water (IRE)
Veteran course winner who posted just about his best effort of the season when keeping on for third in a similar contest at Bath in July. Can give his running again but his losing run stretches back 3 years.
King Of The Dance (IRE)
Made the frame on several occasions this year, dispelling a lesser effort whilst suggesting the trip was at the limit of his stamina when fourth over 1¼m here last week. Not without each-way hope back at 1m.
Launceston (IRE)
Maiden who offered little over hurdles/2 Flat outings for Joe Ponting. However, took a step forward from his stable debut effort when keeping on for fourth in an all-weather classified event at Lingfield (1m) 7 weeks ago. Another with claims of making the frame.
Pebble Dash (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who has tended to save his best for Newcastle and he returned to form in first-time visor when third over 1m at that venue 5 weeks ago. Since changed hands for 3,000 gns and now his task is to back that up. Betting can guide.
Private Officer (IRE)
Ex-Irish gelding who was successful over 1m at Bellewstown in autumn 2024. However, lightly raced and offered little starting out for new yard at Kempton last October. Absent again since and blinkers now reached for.
West Hill Rosie
Well held in a bumper/3 starts in novice/maidens and she failed to improve for switch to handicaps subsequently. Eases further in class now but more needed nevertheless.
Alice's Influence
Gained a first win at Wetherby in April and largely in good nick since, getting no room to open up for much of the home straight when fifth at Beverley (7.3f) 16 days ago (finishing on the bridle). Big player down in class in refitted visor.
Castlekeely (IRE)
Son of Elzaam who had made little impact previously but much more like it on first crack at classified company when second over this trip at Yarmouth 2 weeks ago, short of room 2f out and unlucky not to finish closer. That gives him something to build on and considered for excellent yard.
