Timeform View

KIMEKO GLORY settled better equipped with more severe headgear when running out an emphatic winner at Salisbury last week and can follow up a 5 lb penalty. Last year's winner Platinum Prince looks to have had this race in mind again and he's feared along with class-dropping Beach Point.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Kimeko Glory traded at a high of 6.80 and Betfair SP of 7.20 when winning last time, a race in which it raced prominently and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Kimeko Glory
Three-time winner in 2025 who proved at least as good as ever when emphatically getting off the mark for present yard in a 1m amateur riders contest at Salisbury 7 days ago. No surprise to see her turned out under a penalty and she'll take some stopping again with a repeat.
Show Biz Kid (IRE)
Resumed winning ways at Bath (1¼m) in May but not scaled same heights on 2 of his 3 starts since, racing lazily and making little impression when fifth of 6 in handicap at Epsom 4 weeks ago. Others make greater appeal on balance.
Beach Point (IRE)
Recorded back-to-back wins at Sandown (1¼m) last summer. Has performed creditably more often than not this season and whilst not at his best last time, this represents a marked drop in grade from further reduced mark.
Pride Of Nepal
Won this race in 2024 and enjoyed a real purple patch during first half of this season, completing a 4-timer over further at Ripon in June. Subsequent exploits suggest the handicapper may have caught up with him now, though. Cheekpieces back on.
Gone Rogue (IRE)
Successful at Brighton in July (beat a subsequent winner) and having shaped well when fourth at Sandown next time, he quickly resumed winning ways back at Brighton (1m) 3 weeks ago. Clearly at the top of his game and a big player if proving as effective around here.
Sant Alessio (IRE)
Successful at Bath and Wolverhampton during second half of 2025. Lightly raced this year but didn't exactly shape like his turn was imminent when fading into fourth over 1m back at Bath in July.
Romantic Spirit (FR)
Four-time winner last season but not scaled those heights in handful of all-weather starts during first half of this year. Longer trip may have stretched her at Newcastle in June but she still needs to prove herself as effective on turf in any case.
Grey Fox (IRE)
Kicked off 2025 with success at Kempton (2m) and posted easily his best effort since when edged out late on at Windsor (1¼m) in July. Failed to back that up at Newbury 2 weeks ago but has the assistance of Simon Walker on this occasion and better showing not ruled out.
Platinum Prince
Quirky but capable sort at this level, landing this corresponding event from 4 lb higher 12 months ago. Low-key start to present campaign but more like it whilst shaping as if needing a stronger gallop when fourth at Kempton (1m) in July. This likely been his target since.
Artavian
Sole win came in 2024 but posted a good third of 11 in handicap at Chepstow (1¼m) in June. Probably best not judged too harshly on his 2 heavy defeats over longer trips more recently but consistency is hardly his strong suit.
