Timeform View

TOM CREEN shaped as if ready to strike when last seen here in April so he's taken to record a fifth C&D success. There are plenty of potential dangers, though, headed by Huit Reflets and Thank You Blue.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Huit Reflets traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts: Delpotro traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Delpotro (FR)
Front runner who goes particularly well at this track, notching his second success here over C&D almost a year ago. Up and down since but latest second at Stratford was creditable.
Thank You Blue
Completed a quick-fire hat-trick over hurdles at Ludlow in February. Not as good over fences but rating reflects that and he was a decent second off this mark at Worcester 6 weeks ago. Player with yard going well.
Fiskardo (IRE)
Won a Perth bumper on the back of a significant absence in April and made the frame on all 4 of his starts over hurdles this summer. Interesting chasing debutant.
Wherearethejudges (IRE)
Made the frame in a point and showed a bit on hurdle debut in November but well held in maidens on his next 2 starts. Switched to a handicap for chasing debut.
Wudya (IRE)
Scored on debut for this yard over hurdles at Bangor last summer but she has generally struggled since, including over fences. Change of headgear.
Tom Creen (IRE)
Veteran whose 5 career wins have come here, latest over C&D on Boxing Day 2024. Shaping as if about to end losing run when hampered and unseating rider 3 out here (21f) when last seen in April. Can go well fresh so big shout off the same mark.
Clean Getaway (IRE)
Capitalised on a drop in the weights when scoring here (2m) in April, his fifth course success. Mixed record since, though he was better than the bare result at Market Rasen 2 weeks ago, and he's back on a winning mark.
Huit Reflets (FR)
Dual winner over fences last season, including over 2m here from 3 lb lower, and after a couple of runs over hurdles, he was a back-to-form second here (17f) last month. Needs considering.
Applejack Poet (IRE)
Now 15 runs since his sole win (over hurdles) in 2023 and just the one decent effort this summer.
