Timeform View

JETEYE confirmed he's at least as good a chaser as he is a hurdler when making his third start over fences a winning one at Cartmel 6 weeks ago and he can defy a 1 lb nudge. Jo Arengeot Bey AA was beaten only by one who was gambled on at Uttoxeter last time and rates a clear next best.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

In a race that lacks confirmed pace-forcers, Jo Arengeot Bey Aa could get the run of things: Of the better-fancied horses, Jeteye is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Getaway Vic (IRE)
Irish point winner who looked a good prospect in bumpers but failed to meet expectations switched to hurdles and on his chase/handicap bow last time. Remains capable of better.
Maggies Boy (IRE)
Lost his way over fences (let down by jumping) since chase debut win but he was back to form reverted to hurdles when second at Perth. Remains with something to prove back in this sphere, though.
Jeteye (IRE)
Notched a second Hexham hurdle win in May and left previous form over fences behind when scoring in game fashion at Cartmel 6 weeks ago, looking suited by the longer distance. Remains unexposed in this sphere so obvious claims up only 1 lb.
You Did (IRE)
Dual winner over hurdles towards the end of 2025 but has disappointed since, including on chase bow 6 weeks ago.
Uncle Al (IRE)
Took advantage of his reduced mark when doubling his tally in 4-runner contest at Huntingdon in May but unable to repeat that on next 2 starts and he's opposable back up in trip.
Jo Arengeot Bey Aa (FR)
Maiden hurdler but this point winner was greatly improved on his third run over fences when scoring at Uttoxeter in May. Went off too hard the following month and then quickly back to form when second there 5 weeks ago, beaten only by one who was gambled on. Shapes as if he'll stay this far.
Croagh Patrick (IRE)
Went off the boil for Sam England but proved he retains some ability on second start for this yard when runner-up at Hexham in June. However, he failed miserably to reproduce that form at Cartmel 2 weeks later.
